@tantocoed She has better days, but right now it’s the worst. It started to go downhill when my grandfather passed a few years ago, but now it’s just becoming unbearable. So stubborn.

@hereformarsh I’m sorry Ana. A family friend has Alzheimer’s. At my old job circa nine years ago, one of my coworkers developed the same. He had to retire. I’m not sure if that was his cause of death in 2021 but it wouldn’t surprise me.

@tantocoed I don’t wish dementia upon anyone. It’s such a mentally painful thing to go through. Especially when it’s someone you dearly love- like how I love my grandmother. She’s not her anymore, and the realization of it comes in waves.

@hereformarsh I could be taking care of older family members in the not too far future. I’m the only single kid; that also frees me up. Sometimes I wish I lived at least 10 years sooner in life. I’m so old school on a lot of things.
