Philly people around Wissahickon: is there something causing extra traffic during the day and at PM rush-hour? My bus needed an extra 45 minutes today. Yesterday was almost as bad. Incidentally, Monday was no problem.

I don’t know the specifics but there’s a line so to speak of PECO poles and lines that runs parallel for maybe a mile, parallel with my complex and the Chester Valley Trail. Birds like to go to the top. No major distractions except for photos!

Is anyone else old school like me writing reminders and grocery lists with a pen or pencil instead of relying on Amazon, Alexa, or other digital media?

@BrookeWC79 Having survived one tornado [during Ida in 2021 - most certain it went over my head], I'll take a false alarm any day. My bus coming home was actually ahead of schedule today. People might have gone home or WFH today. I get your point, though.

@destiny_lugardo I agree with your logic. It seems like the list keeps growing overtime. Players need to be careful of what medications they take, even if it’s supposed to do something good for their well-being.

Per the MLB JDA, Rojas is no longer eligible to participate in major league spring training games this year. The games begin to count towards his suspension at the start of the regular season. It will be interesting to see how they fill innings in CF for the rest of spring.

@DrewForecast I’ll take just a rainy bus ride home from the city any day. In fact my bus was ahead of schedule! I looked out the windows as many times as I could today, and I did not see one peak of sun in Philadelphia.

The tornado threat is over. The radar filled in with rain taking instability that would have caused severe weather. There will still be a line of storms a few hours from now with gusty winds and heavy rain. That marks a big drop in temperatures. It feels like January tomorrow

@DrewForecast I’m parked along the fence next to the Chester Valley Trail, a mere 20 second walk to my door, but still further away from the [albeit bare] trees. If I park under them in the fall, I’m subject to crab apples dropping on my car. A little hard to get off!

If you park your car outside, get it away from big trees. It'll be easy for storm wind gusts today to break tree limbs. I'm moving my old car to the driveway right now.

For a chilly afternoon in the 50s, there sure are a lot of people out in Phillllly. You'd think it's in the 70s! We do get up to 70 Monday but we also get strong storms with a strong cold front that drops us to 40 on Tuesday. Here we go again with another temperature swing...

One time a guy got mad at me at a bar bc I wasn’t interested in him and he legitimately said to me “I hope your kitten dies” so I got him kicked out of the bar.
