WU: I want students to know that they should not be stress about testing! That no matter what as long as you try your best that is all that matters! I also want to wish them luck, and let them know I am happy to be their number 1 supporter! #INelearn
R5: I think with anything we have to assess data and also remember that tech is a tool, not the content. We should look at the pedagogy that is lacking, then fill in with methods. #INeLearn
A5: We can use that data to improve our instruction the following school year to see what students struggle in the most. This data can help change how a teacher reflects and instructs. #INelearn
@swinning_id@LCHS_Bio@CanvasLMS Canvas does offer an option for students to take quizzes and tests. Although, the teacher must create the testing material. #INelearn
R3: again @CanvasLMS allows you to differentiate within your modules. I have ENL students taking the same test in their native language right next to native English speakers. I can differentiate assignments, create translated documents and link them within modules. #INeLearn
@T_Copple A4: Is this for standardized testing? It isn't easy to prepare for but Khan Academy is what I used to study for my SAT test so that could be used for younger students as needed. #INeLearn
@lattimroe@LCHS_Bio@CanvasLMS Canvas is a great tool, and it keeps everything organized. It is great to hold resources and provide support if needed. #INelearn
R2: I think that while tech is a great addition to any classroom and can be incredibly helpful especially in adapting lessons for all learners, sometimes having assessments online is more difficult for some students. Including variety is key in my opinion #INeLearn
A2: We can utilize tech to assess student growth and performance throughout the school year by providing time for review while they use fun tech tools. #INelearn
@T_Copple R1: For me, games have always worked to lower stress and review for big assessments so that is always where I go especially with younger kids. #INeLearn
Q1 It’s the home stretch and students are getting antsy for the warm weather and longer days. How do you keep engagement high and students focused through assessment season? #INeLearn
R1: I think to keep the engagement high and the students focused would be to keep the enthusiasm high in the classroom. I also think keeping the lessons light to lower the students stress while they have big assessments! #INelearn
@eductabismit R2: I agree! Symbaloo is definitely a great resource to use. I have found that it is a great organizational tool that will be a great tool for students and myself to use. #educW200chat
R2: I believe that Symbaloo is a great resource I have learned about through this class. As I want to teach lower elementary, this resource will save a lot of time by the students being able to click on a button, rather than them typing in the URL. #educW200chat
