@itschappy I read that Utah asked the DOT to have I-70 follow 6 all the way, but the DOT wanted a more direct route to SoCal.

Nah, don't worry about tech debt. When it builds up enough to be unbearable, you just vibe code the new app from scratch.
Justin Skycak@justinskycak
Pure vibe coding is a Ponzi scheme. Eventually, the technical debt comes due, and if you don't understand the foundations, you can't pay it off.

@JosephHorner Except Netflix is far superior to Paramount Plus as a streaming product.
English

welll $%@#& that sucks for news but hopefully good for movies
Lucas Shaw@Lucas_Shaw
Netflix is OUT. Paramount is going to buy Warner Bros. Discovery

@JosephHorner That's why I oppose the wheel idea. Teams needed to be rewarded for good management. We need to reduce the role of luck, not increase it.
English

can you also imagine waiting 30 years for the #1 pick just to get it in a bad NBA draft year? YIKES

DO WHEEL ITS FUN AND FAIR. Can you imagine knowing what each draft pick is when you trade it?

Any CEO is going to hype their product. But even if it’s not in the time he’s given, there’s huge drive by companies to reduce workforce costs and almost always will be there. There’s a huge demand unlike the example of “hot pockets CEO says hot pockets will be the only food.”

Microsoft AI CEO, Mustafa Suleyman, says that "most, if not all, professional tasks" undertaken by white collar workers will be fully automated by AI within the next 12 to 18 months

@andyblarsen May as well blow them out and try to tire some guys ahead of 2nd of btb.

@JosephHorner If I was a serious historian, I'd write a book about how the desire for better tasting food shaped world history..

@davidjsmith1232 The fact that they made no moves after Kessler was lost for the season tells me they aren't serious about solving defensive issues this season.
English

As many have astutely pointed out, the Jazz need to get these players…next year!
David J. Smith@davidjsmith1232
The Jazz desperately need to acquire a defensive identity and defensive players.
English

@andyblarsen Obviously tonight is an outlier. But it has seemed defensive rebounding has been a challenge without Kessler.
English

@k_clayt @davidjsmith1232 He probably would have been a star 15 years ago (a la Blake Griffin, LMA, David Lee). He would have been perfect for the Jazz then.
English

@davidjsmith1232 I saw that throughout the game.
I've always been lukewarm on the player (before, during, and since his Jazz days), but I think he's a good guy & a professional.
English

@CJRealHoops1 And they've spent millions on that project. I'll laugh if they find something that is worth less than they spent looking for it.
English

@andyblarsen I find it poetically frustrating that the jazz have yet to address the fatal flaws of the Gobert era (defense and rebounding from other 4 players).
English

@CJRealHoops1 Butterfinger stays. Baby Ruth has the same basic ingredients as Snickers. Butterfinger is more unique
English

@AndrewDBailey True. But I firmly believe it's that size that prevents him from being a top 5 player. Small guys tend to not win big in the playoffs, unless they're Steph.
