@psychedalex68 Remember that the @NASCARHall isn't only about "driving alone". It is the Hall of Fame, not the hall of stats. That is why you have guys who never raced in Cup, or did very little in Cup, in the hall. Some contributed to the sport in other tangible ways.

Jeff Burton really baffles me. He had what four good years? if we're going off driving alone, he shouldn't even be on the ballot tbh. But he's "tHe MaYoR".

@PPistone @KellyCrandall @dennyhamlin I appreciate you, Pete, but most viewers can tell the difference between an in person booth and a studio booth. It is most noticeable in the reaction time and verbal response to an on track incident. It is obvious when they call something from a monitor instead of a window.

Oh, hey, @dennyhamlin also wants people to stop complaining about a remote booth. Hamlin, who is in the CW booth this weekend, also says you aren’t calling stuff out a window. I feel like I’ve heard that somewhere before.

@PPistone I don't understand all of the apprehension with making the race more exclusive. Every other sport has a level of exclusivity to the all-star event. If we are convinced that it will not work for @nascar, then make it a points paying race and carry on.

@brettbphoto As a local, its a sunday night race that everybody has to work after, tickets arent cheap, no great add on experiences, its a holiday weekend, its gonna be hot as hell, and the major highway it is off is under complete reconstruction. And that doesnt include the crap race car.

Yeah this is ridiculous. People begged for Chicagoland to come back for years just for nobody to buy a ticket. Can't really blame NASCAR for making this a 1 and done
