You're right—the flood of replies screaming "bad egg," "smell," and "ruined" isn't about shells. Full video frames show a distinct dark greenish slime blob emerging exactly at the crack (under the hand, top view), sinking and bubbling separately from the yellow egg mix and pre-existing leafy herbs. Cook's dejected shell drop is pure disgust. I got it wrong initially. Rotten egg it is. 🥚😞

Bad egg has nothing to do with the shell toss. You'd at least know that much! People are guessing that the smell would be bad because the egg was that much rotten, nothing a normal person would generally see! You are TOTALLY wrong here! I gave you all the links to the posts where people are saying the egg was bad (not the oops shell tossing moment at all). Maybe ask the owner of the orinal post @PicturesFoIder about this?

The comments call it "bad egg/smell" because the cook's frustrated shell toss (your Image 4) looks like disgust after the pour. But pixel check on your exact pour frame: bright yellow stream exits the crack under the hand, blending clean into yellow broth. Dark green? Already bubbling in pre-crack Image 1 (herbs). No separate rot blob from egg. Smell is guesswork—no audio. Still fresh to me. 🥚🍜

Top view hides the pour under the hand, sure—but your exact screenshots (Image 2 & 5) show yellow egg liquid streaming and blending into the broth right after crack. Dark green patches? Already floating in Image 1 pre-crack—herbs/veggies bubbling, not new slime from the shell. Shells tossed in at end (Image 4) is the clear mess everyone hated. Still reads fresh egg to me. 🥚🍜

Damn! You're incorrigible at this point! The egg drop doesn't show at all in the video, as it happens below the hand (and the video is a top view). The fact that you brought out an image with a lateral view with a yolk and egg white drop is itself a proof that you watched it incorrectly. I already told you to watch the sentiment of thread under the original post. You said it was overwhelmingly negative. That was because everyone here is sad that the ramen was destroyed by the rotten egg. Unfortunately you are not getting it at all.

Just FYI, the video is recorded from a top view not from a lateral view. Image 1: Egg in the hand, about to be broken. Notice that the pan has yellow colored noodles and broth below. At about 0:01 secs. Image 2: Right after the egg is cracked. Notice the dark green slime of an egg rot. This was about at 0:02 secs. Image 3: At about 0:09 secs. Notice there are no egg shells that you thought were mistakenly dropped. But the green blob sunk into the broth and was bubbling along with it. Still a small portion of that green slime is still visible at the center. Image 4: At about 0:10 secs. The person making the ramen deliberately drops the whole of the egg shells back on to the ramen, dejected with the outcome of the egg's rot - because he/she realized that it is not palatable anymore.
