watched a bunch of founders pitch back-to-back last week and the polished ones started blending together really fast the people i remembered could just explain what was broken and what they had actually done about it i probably need to make my own pitch less impressive and more true

best advice i got last week: stop trying to solve month three. close week one. so that is the sprint now: get @getdeadlink into one real operating context with one real team. a signed pilot solves more than any meeting ever will.

it is july 4 and i keep thinking about how weird my life is grew up in india moved to the US at 13/14 now 17 in SF building around founders i do not have a clean patriotic take just grateful, slightly confused, and very locked in

weird thing about SF: you can have an insanely productive day without shipping anything meet people get intros explain the idea get smarter all useful but at the end of the day the demo still has to work

learning this the hard way: a yes is not the same thing as a path to yes someone can like the idea, want the demo, agree the problem is real but if trying it means procurement hell, it is not actually easy to try early pricing is not just "what is this worth?" it is "what can this person approve without turning it into a whole process?" useful is not enough it has to be buyable

apparently @fdotinc off season II starts by putting your feet in the ocean i thought they were joking they were not it was silly for like 10 seconds and then i kind of got it tiny rituals make strangers become a group faster honestly underrated

got the first deadlink demo live very rough but real now getdeadlink.com/demo for the last few weeks this was mostly something I had to explain now people can actually open it and click around small step but it feels important if you break it or something feels confusing, tell me :)
