This infuriated me so much… A graduate of high profile accelerator posted that they were interested in mentoring under served under privileged founders. Asked for blurb about what we were building so that we could engage with them possibly. Now I’m not the right fit for what they want to engage in. I’m just not the right fit. However… instinctively reaching for the resolution that I need a technical cofounder in order to be successful for product that’s live and being used is absolutely ridiculous of advice. Do I think I’ll benefit from a cofounder absolutely do I think that cofounder has to be extremely technical especially in today’s date and age no not really, do I think the people I’m around and the access I have to extremely intelligent technical people is more valuable than anything I would ever be able to get out of a technical cofounder 100%. Just a bit crazy to me that they would say they want to help the underprivileged under represented, and then say the only way to get that help is to rely on somebody else who lack of a better word fits the visual standard to be better. SMH…

I travel a ton but is there a loyalty program that is worth it enough to actually optimize for? I just book whatever is cheap and easy whenever I see it.

Enterprise platforms start at $30K and price out the other 95%. We just deployed live at Black is Tech Conference (2,500 attendees, Houston) as our first Design Partner. 12 modules in production and being used. DACON's founder reached out unprompted about deploying Gythr for their international conference. Solo founder, Black woman, bootstrapped from Austin. Background: ran ops at ServiceTitan's Pantheon, currently Director of Program Experience at Gauntlet AI. Would love the Demo Day recording. Would CAPITALIZE on mentoring.

Application for @speedrun 07 are officially open. The program not only changed @GenwayAI trajectory, but also ours as founders. I am looking for a few folks to mentor, way more valuable than a scout cheque if you ask me. If you haven't done so yet - comment with a blurb of what you are building, and I will reach out via DM. A tip I shared with folks that attended SR06: If you are a team of 3+ crashing in SF/LA for the duration of the program, don't be cheap! Get an apartment with more than 1 bathroom... otherwise it will turn into Sparta quicker than you think 😅

It's official - @speedrun 07 applications are open. Yes - as a scout I can write you a cheque within 24h but I wanna do better than that. I am looking for a few early stage founders to mentor. My sweet spot are folks with international background, who come from underprivileged backgrounds, and never had anything handed to them. Comment with a blurb of what you are building and I will DM you my Demo Day pitch recording. Here is a tip I gave folks in the past. Your product and vision will take you from 10-->100 but for the 0-->1 part it's about the TEAM. Read the "Dinner Party Jerk" essay by @andrewchen. That's how u should pitch yourself.

Building what I wished existed every time I duct-taped 6 tools together to run a conference. First design partner (Black is Tech Conference , 3,500 people) is live on us this week in Houston. I just now realized (we listen and we don’t judge) that @gauntletai is the BIGGEST Cheat Code ever! Even for me gaining knowledge through small dose osmosis of just being in the building. Imagine what I could do if I was a challenger, kind makes me sad I’m not!
