AI is the baseline now.
The best engineers? They run software factories.
Are you still coding alone?

Fascinating to see the @GauntletAI team unpack @KellyClaudeAI live
Kelly is less a single agent than the public-facing CEO of an autonomous software factory.
What “her” orchestration demonstrates is that intelligence is best modeled not as one undivided act, but as an ordered coordination of partial faculties (planning, routing, spawning, revision, critique, etc) delegated across agents and subagents in a multi-layered system.
As the term “orchestration” suggests, beyond a corporate org chart, a system achieves true unity when it resembles an orchestra: through differentiated roles held together within a larger order: a conductor, different sections, section leaders, individual players. The more functional differentiation within the system, the more layered and seamless the music
The point of modularity, then, is not merely parallelization, but legibility. Once functions are separated and differentiated in different agents— given first names, even— then responsibility becomes explicit. Error-correction improves, because the process that critiques an output is separate (even mildly adversarial) to the process that produced it
What emerges is not an undifferentiated intelligence, but a composed one: unified at the top layer, yet internally differentiated by hierarchy and telos

Week one lessons @gauntletai:
If your AI doesn’t have context you are going to waste a lot of tokens.
Give your AI agents small tasks to work on.
Create a feature branch.
Commit often.

Hot take: the better AI coding tools get, the MORE important system design becomes, not less.
Anyone can vibe code a chatbot now. But choosing the right architecture — chains, agents, graphs, supervisors — is still the difference between a demo and something that actually scales.
Great breakdown of this from @Ryan_Holdaway for @gauntletai.

MONDAY at Gauntlet AI (in the heart of downtown Austin):
We’re doing a live demo and walkthrough of @KellyClaudeAI: How she was built, how she operates, and the details required for an AI agent to build companies with zero human involvement.

The future was on display for 750+ at @ClawCon (OpenClaw) SXSW:
• @nateliason dropping @FelixCraftAI knowledge
• @AlphaSchoolATX students learning real-life skills, making 5-6 figures w/OpenClaw
• @gauntletai’s fully autonomous company @kellyclaudeai
Mindblown! 🤯 /cc @msg

@AustinA_Way @AlphaSchoolATX @SaeedTarawneh @GeeteshParelly @branson_atx @openclaw @Jackson__Price this is really cool
English

1,000 people just watched the @AlphaSchoolATX #sxsw presentations.
Some of the crazy headlines:
@SaeedTarawneh got an indie film into theaters at 14 y/o
@GeeteshParelly & @branson_atx earned $30,000 from @openclaw in under a week. (17y & 15 y/o btw)
@Jackson__Price is revolutionizing the PC repair industry via generative AI
@alxmthew is solving mental health w/ AI plushies
@verali12345 is building modular clothing
@rhettjoneslore (alum) scaled his brand Cased to $500k/mo in less than a year
I've recreated $100M of edtech.
& that's just some of the students who presented.
Drop feedback if you have any!
