I feel like “eliminating road death” sounds like a good idea but in the real world it isn’t a good target.
Given increased costs and diminishing returns on the long tail of road safety, economists would argue the optimum number of road deaths isn’t zero.
That would require absurd and unpalatable cost or intervention.

We understand exactly what they are.
They’re controlled urban and suburban environments where technological surveillance is used to monitor travelling citizens, issue fines for travel deemed inappropriate by the state and thereby discourage travel in certain areas by certain people at certain times.

The quickest way to stop all this, just as I have suggested for the Palestine Action supporting idiots, is to introduce fixed penalty notices.
A £5,000 fine for interfering with ICE officers after receiving three warnings to desist.
Refusal or inability to pay brings a doubling to £10,000 and immediate seizure of personal goods to pay for it.
If you haven’t got the money, an attachment to income of 25% is applied until the fine, plus interest is paid off.
I guarantee this will end rapidly.
They will initially organise crowd funding to pay the fines, but will soon be overwhelmed by the sheer amount of money involved.
A second offence should bring a 12 month prison sentence with no parole.
If they are so put out by illegals being deported, organise to elect Democrats again and flood your country again.
No violence, no dead people.

In truth I really can't stand woke people, they're misguided and I believe at the far end of the woke spectrum clearly mentally unwell.
Even the moderate woke are awful to me, they're not just misguided, they're happy to be misguided, they're lazy in their thinking cheerily indoctrinated by universities, critical thinking is an alien to them, how easily they were flipped against their own.
