@WildcatsTongue Can’t argue with 22pts 11 assists unless you’re a fake casual like most Louisville fans are. Where were you for Kenny Payne? Yall only show up when it’s cool. You know nothing about basketball
English

@SportsDad_ @jlightsy7 That’s an uneducated comment on paper we have the #1 Louisville commit in history ranked above Mikel, the #1 portal player and class which we didn’t have last year either.on paper this team is way better
English

@jlightsy7 Our team last year on paper was better than what we have this year. Nobody on our team this year is as good as Mikel. I get it sucked how it played out, but until we see this team on the floor, I’ll believe a second weekend when I see it.
Only Alvaro played 2nd weekend last year

@The_Phogg @alexlanham3 @JonChep @DXContent @NBADraft @KUHoops @LouisvilleMBB I think a big 12 def player of the year award speaks for itself
English

@alexlanham3 @JonChep @DXContent @NBADraft @KUHoops @LouisvilleMBB He couldn’t bully hardly any bigs in the big 12. Watch an actual game Jesus fuck
English

@MarteenMorado @dmvky23 @DdoubleJBURNER @zyonx0 @KentuckyMBB @On3 A much higher ceiling your retarded
English

@dmvky23 @DdoubleJBURNER @zyonx0 @KentuckyMBB @On3 Perhaps not at the moment but a much higher ceiling. He’ll have all the resources to hit and pass the ceiling at Kentucky.

@alexwilkins67 @JohnnyStiv11018 @rbrown502 Im sure Wooley didn’t average 19 at kennesaw state on 42 percent from 3 gotcha brother guess espn lying
English

@JohnnyStiv11018 @rbrown502 Money, rankings, production all beg to differ with your backcourt rankings
English

@heywsp_2007 @rbrown502 Yeah that’s what people say when they have no argument. Theres literally nothing on tape or stat sheets that would say Wooley is better than Zoom or even Alex. 8 4 and 2 in a guard friendly offense. Just say your a homer and be cool with it kid

@GetMoTheCloser @jarred_combs @VeronicaTeamstr @WillyMakelt @AllUKBall_HPS Dude called someone’s comment the dumbest on the internet following it up with Malachi Moreno is a projected lottery pick…retard
English

@jarred_combs @VeronicaTeamstr @WillyMakelt @AllUKBall_HPS Hands down the dumbest comment on the internet. Brea, Williams, Robinson was with him even before UK. Moreno is a first rounder and projected lottery next season. All he does is develop players. You dumbass.

@TaninSmithKK At least you spell better then you analyze basketball, shit ain’t for you.

In-Depth Player Breakdowns: Part 2
Player Comparison included at the end of the breakdown
Player: CG Alex Wilkins
Transfer from: Furman
Height: 6’5
Weight: 175 lbs
OFFENSIVE PROFILE:
Wilkins is simply a bucket getter. He scores off the dribble in isolation, in pick &roll as the ball handler, in transition, and in the midrange off pump fakes. He uses his lanky 6’5 frame to get to his spots and slither past defenders. His shot selection in the SoCon Tournament and NCAA Tournament was quick, unselfish, and high percentage. He proved that elevated competition isn’t an issue, scoring over 20 points against 2 seed and eventual national runner ups UConn in the tourney. He had 20+ points in 14 games during the regular season
His free throw shooting at 82.4% shows solid shot mechanics, which could indicate a boost in his three point percentage as well. His 46% from the field overall shows efficiency for a high usage freshman handling creation duties. The “concern” is the three-point percentage at 32.8%, but his 7 attempts per game is very high volume, and one would assume he won’t be taking that many at Kentucky next year. He will need to be more selective, but I dont think that will be a problem
WEAKNESSES AND CONCERNS:
The turnover rate is the big negative from Wilkins numbers at Furman. 3.8 per game is a rough number, especially when Zoom Diallo struggles from similar turnover issues. While it can be explained by looking at his high usage and playing a creation heavy role without quality co-creators, he’ll have to improve that rate significantly at the SEC level against better defensive players and schemes
His three point shooting at 32.8% is below the threshold Pope's system demands. He'll have better catch & shoot opportunities playing off Diallo than he did as Furman's primary initiator, but that’s still a hypothetical and not a given. Physically, at 175 lbs, SEC level athleticism will be a step up from the SoCon
FIT WITH POPE:
The upside fit is definitely there. Wilkins playing off Diallo rather than being the primary creator should drop his turnover numbers significantly and create cleaner catch & shoot opportunities that could boost his three point percentage. Pope's motion offense creates a lot of the same actions Furman ran. Wilkins was comfortable attacking from the midrange and corner. His ability to also run pick & roll means Pope has flexibility to use him as a secondary ball handler in lineups without Diallo. The ceiling is a legitimate SEC star if the turnovers drop
PLAYER COMPARISON:
Bryce McGowens, Nebraska SG
OR
Ricky Council IV, Arkansas CG
Long, natural scorer. McGowens and Council had similar creation ability, similar turnover concerns at times, and the same "effortless bucket-getter" archetype that seems to translate. Wilkins has more length and playmaking ability, McGowens and Council had more athleticism

@rbrown502 Haha dude Wooley is the reason players like Alex weren’t ranked as high. And Zoom has produced at a high level in a power 5. I like Wooley but what you said is ridiculous. UK has the better backcourt. You can say Flory is better than Malachi but Flory isn’t getting 1st round buzz

@prairiesquatch @X7360869058282 @ZachSchumaker @patkelsey @CardSportZone @LvilleSprtsLive @CrumsRevenge Some decent players your retarded…

@X7360869058282 @ZachSchumaker @patkelsey @CardSportZone @LvilleSprtsLive @CrumsRevenge Yeah thats fair. Theyre not gonna be awful. They have some decent players for sure. But their fans are celebrating like offseason champs lol

@TaninSmithKK I had a shitty day and was hoping to have it made by Tyran Stokes committing to UK. Instead, it just adds on to what has been the worst few days of my life. Pope needs to do something about this or resign.
English

@fpr4 @Brewtalityx @nbadraftpoint You sound fucking retarded every comment you say 2 years he won the natty in 2022 he’s washed you sound special
English

Which roster ends up looking better after landing Tyran Stokes? Who loses more not landing him?
PG: Leroy Blyden
SG: Taylen Kinney
SF: Tyran Stokes
PF: Keanu Dawes
C: Reeves / Mbiya
OR
PG: Zoom Diallo
SG: Alex Wilkins
SF: Tyran Stokes
PF: Ousmane N’Diaye
C: Malachi Moreno
Paul Biancardi@PaulBiancardi
Tyran Stokes shared Kentucky, Oregon, and Kansas on his Instagram story, highlighting them as his three schools. A source told ESPN that Oregon is seriously in the mix and that he’s closely watching whom these schools are signing in the portal before making his decision. Stokes is the No.1 prospect in the SC Next 100. @SCNext

@HoosierHaze @247Sports @TravisBranham_ @247SportsPortal @AdamFinkelstein @ebosshoops @KyleTuckerCBB @DushawnLondon1 @BJenkins247 Burton smu center and Sherrell the only good pickups other 3 will be role players and all 4 Louisville commits are ranked way better
English

@247Sports @TravisBranham_ @247SportsPortal @AdamFinkelstein @ebosshoops @KyleTuckerCBB @DushawnLondon1 @BJenkins247 I don’t know how they come up with these rankings. Indiana has twice as many commits as Louisville, and from a talent standpoint, their top 3 is just as good as Louisville’s top 3.
Doesn’t make sense
