Anyone who says Mixtape isn't a game might just not like narrative-driven adventure games, which is fine. It's not about fail states, choices, or obstacles, it's an interactive curated experience meant to make you feel something. Mixtape is good because it accomplishes that.


If Mixtape was a movie I wouldn't have been able to have so much fun doing this.





They got funding from Australia's government. Programmes around the world have schemes to support indie talent. Screen Scotland, BFI, Screen Ireland etc. The publisher made a CD? Really? That's your smoking gun? What would the point of this conspiracy even be? To what goal


tagging your game with "great soundtrack" on steam has gotta be one of the most narcissistic things you can do as a developer tbh.

This game is the biggest industry plant I think I've ever seen. Drops out of nowhere, no gameplay just a movie, ONLY 3 HOURS, still gets 10/10 from everyone.. Only 1800 players but somehow has 1300 reviews all positive. Yea bruh you ain't fooling anyone lol

The mixtape hate is so forced and every single negative take screams bitterness. People are REACHING to try and dismantle this indie game. Its sad. It’s a fun, whimsical, narrative game with a sense of humour and a solid soundtrack People can’t let anyone enjoy things anymore.
