I’ve been on a few dates with this guy and everything has been going great, like genuinely perfect. Then today he sends me a picture and casually says, “my lower legs don’t grow any hair,” and it immediately ruined the vibe. I don’t know why that sentence flipped a switch in my brain, but it instantly made him feel less manly to me and I couldn’t unsee it. Now it finally makes sense why I’ve never seen him in shorts, and honestly that tells me everything. I didn’t even respond and it’s been twelve hours because what are you supposed to say to that? I don’t think this is something I can just overlook.

NEW: Dr. Joss Reimer, a physician from Manitoba, has been named Canada's new chief public health officer. Reimer was chief medical officer for the Winnipeg health authority, and was medical lead for Manitoba's COVID vaccine implementation task force. She begins her role April 1.

Canada needs to prioritize filling in the gaps in our health system. Physicians should be able to move from province to province - without applying for a new, costly license.
