My app just hit $17.5K in revenue for the first time last month! 🎉 I've decided to resign from my current job to go all-in and focus 100% on my product, officially putting an end (at least temporarily) to my 9-to-5 journey, though I might go back if things don’t work out lol 😆. Officially stepping into the path of an indie hacker, solo entrepreneur, solo full-stack... Hoping everything goes as well as I imagine! 🤞

I stick to a single Markdown file for all my notes, keeps it clean and streamlined. Soft music, no lyrics, sets the vibe without distraction. @ProductHunt @cursor_ai @windsurf_ai I’ve been using Cursor since it first launched, and it’s still solid for me. Great community support and fits my workflow perfectly. I checked out Windsurf’s Wave 4 updates, but nothing’s jumped out as a game-changer to make me switch yet. Still keeping an eye on it, though! 😄

Do you use @cursor_ai or @windsurf_ai and why?

@alexcooldev I think it depends on many things. What problem does the product solve, and what costs are necessary? If he can reduce costs and still get good results, then great. But if it’s too risky to optimize or could lose customers and the profit is acceptable, it’s fine for now. 🤔

My product just hit a new small milestone with $17K in monthly revenue. Meanwhile, a friend of mine has reached $40K per month. When I asked him about his operating costs, marketing expenses, and AI API costs, I was shocked to learn that it costs him up to $20K, whereas my product only costs $600 for everything. This makes me wonder which product is actually performing better? Would you rather have a high-revenue product with low profit margins or a lower-revenue product with high profit margins? 🤔
