Too often, women walk into meetings already carrying the pressure to prove their credibility. While everyone benefits from preparation, for women in the workplace, being especially well prepared can be a powerful way to ensure their ideas are heard, respected, and remembered.

Your body walks into the room before you say a word. Most women have been conditioned to make themselves smaller — hunched shoulders, arms crossed, voice that trails off at the end of a sentence. That needs to stop. Take up space, slow down and let silence work for you. #tips

Play starts today at the Masters. Seven years ago, Augusta National launched the Augusta National Women’s Amateur Tournament, taking place a week before. This is a barrier breaker, as women were excluded from Augusta until 2012. Major sponsors like @MercedesBenz are supporting!

If you are the boss, avoid asking your staff to do a task. This is an opportunity to delegate in a commanding way. Asking gives employees the opportunity to blow off the task. Your "to do" list needs to have the critical items on it, everything else get delegated.

One of favorite quotes for over two decades popped up on my calendar today. It motivated me and perhaps it will motivate you. Mary Anne Radmacher- "Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says, "I'll try again tomorrow."

This is a huge first for women, Engineer/astronaut Christina Koch is making history by becoming the first woman to orbit the moon as part of the Artemis II mission, which launched from Florida’s Space Coast Wednesday evening. Hopefully, this one will not miss the history books.

Don't see the solution to a workplace problem? Edison, “When you have exhausted all possibilities, remember this—you haven’t.” It is said that Edison failed 1,000-10,000 times while attempting to create the lightbulb. There's always another possibility, ask new questions.

Run don’t walk to see the play, All Things Equal: The Life and Trials of Ruth Badger Ginsberg! It’s an extraordinary depiction of RBG in a one woman two hour show. It feels like you are watching Ginsburg in the flesh. It’s showing across the country! #rbg #womenshistorymonth

Equal Pay Day! The gap between women and men just widened for the second year in a row! That’s the first time that's happened since records began in 1960. Women working full-time earn 81 cents for every dollar men earn-the same as they did 10 years ago. #equalpayday #gender

Daily there are ethical questions in the workplace. If you know deep in your soul something is not being handled correctly, listen to the ever-wise Mark Twain: "Always do what is right. It will gratify half of mankind and astound the other." It takes guts, risks, being visible!

Women in the workplace get criticized daily. It may be a man who sees your ambition as aggression or a woman who believes all women should be on the same plane. Heed Eleanor Rossevelt, "Do what you feel in your heart to be right – for you’ll be criticized anyway.”
