@PompeyGBH @ROWPublicHealth I don't disagree, but there have been walk-up appointments available at local pharmacies for several weeks for over 50s. Of course many of these predate omicron risks, so I understand why demand was low.

@msitalia26 Riding side by side is actually safer. It forces vehicles to properly overtake them instead of trying to squeeze by too closely in the same lane. In larger groups, it also allows drivers to overtake the group faster by not having a long line of cyclists in a row.

@Cycle_WR @RegionWaterloo I've been using this daily - it's great! Issue I now have is when slowing down when approaching the signalized crossing onto the spur line. Safe motorists trying to turn left across the bike lane are held up as I slow down/stop to engage the crossing.

If you've also noticed it's a little narrow, we've already been in touch with the @RegionWaterloo project manager (response attached). We will continue to advocate for a better connection here, and hopefully someday we'll see crossrides through the whole intersection!

To maintain Boone Lake levels, we're currently releasing water using the dam's low-level sluice gate. This creates a "rooster tail" of water and is normal. The sluice gate is being used because the two generating units are temporarily offline for maintenance. #boone #boonedam
