@OffTheTrop I feel like the bullpen is far from settled. Between him and Bigge, then Uceta on IL, I feel like the Rays have a LOT of internal options to mix and match throughout the year. Helps ease the loss of Fairbanks.

This is an underrated move. Booser had a great spring, and he’ll definitely make an impact in the big league bullpen at some point this season.

In our meeting, we thanked them for their hard work and effort in a season that began in an unexpected and non-traditional fashion. While every member of the program deserves a lot of credit for pulling together to help win 20 games this season, we want to specifically say how grateful we are to our seniors for their amazing careers and for all of their incredible contributions to USF. In the spirit of transparency, we have elected to forego the opportunity to play in any of the non-NCAA Tournament postseason options as a full review of our women’s basketball program is underway and deserves our entire attention. We also want to thank Michele Woods-Baxter for the admirable job she did as our interim head coach this season. Coach Woods-Baxter will receive consideration to lead our program moving forward as part of a comprehensive national search, which is also now underway. This is one of the best women’s basketball programs in the country and we look forward to identifying the perfect leader to take us to championship heights in our next chapter. @hill6183 I’m leaning Carson to make the Opening Day roster as of now. Getting difficult to justify leaving him off. If that’s what happens then it’s between Walls and Williamson for the last infield spot. I think Walls wins that job simply because of his glove, but we’ll see

Another hit for Carson Williams to start the game today. It’s a small sample size, but Carson has shown much improved swing decisions and barrel control without losing his QoC. Only 4 K’s in 19 PA’s this spring. The best version of this year’s team has him as the starting SS.

Miami's stellar season on the hardwood has overshadowed what has been easily one of the best campaigns in Akron MBB history. One conference loss (to Miami in January) and 26-5 overall. Give the Zips their flowers too!
