This may be an unpopular opinion, but I think Matt’s response is A-class and I’m glad he came out and said it transparently. “Roblox is not the platform it was five, ten, almost twenty years ago.” I know it’s hard to accept, but it is the reality. He even acknowledges that age verification is widely unpopular. By no means am I going to defend Roblox for every decision, but his take of “Some Roblox everywhere is better than full Roblox nowhere.” is a fantastic way to put it.

I know many developers and contributors care deeply about this project, and I regret that this situation is affecting them. Ren and I had a personal relationship, and we met up at RDC. From my perspective and records, those interactions were mutual and consensual at that time. We continued communicating even after the conference, and there was no indication that boundaries had been crossed in the way the document states. This is reflected in our conversations before, during, and after the events. With recognition that people can experience situations differently, I want to emphasize that I do not want to dismiss how someone else may feel. There are important parts of this situation that are not fully represented publicly. After these events, private and sensitive information about our interactions was shared with multiple people without my consent, despite me expressing discomfort with that. This created a significant breach of trust and contributed heavily to the breakdown of communication between us. Following RDC, the situation became more complicated as more people became involved and private matters were shared beyond what I was comfortable with. This led to a breakdown in trust and communication, and I made the decision to step back and create distance. I also want to acknowledge that I did not handle every part of this situation perfectly. There were moments where I could have communicated better and acted more carefully, and I take responsibility for that. Because of the seriousness of the claims being made, I am taking the time to review everything thoroughly so that my further responses are responsible and respectful. I’m guessing you didn’t watch the video because I literally discuss all of the things you mentioned in it. Over half that specific video is me talking about Roblox’s recent issues and moderation problems. As for the title and thumbnail - it’s sarcasm. It’s literally just me playing into the jokes and memes surrounding my news videos. It’s not that deep. Hence the absurd amount of poorly photoshopped balloons and confetti. The reality is I don’t like making negative videos. I hate being negative about things constantly because it’s not good for your health. I understand that Roblox has a lot of issues right now, and I think it’s fair to say I’ve always been one of the first to call them out on it, but I’ll also be the first to praise something good too. Roblox listening to the community and changing this feature is a good step in the right direction. This is a good update. Sometimes it’s enough to celebrate the small victories. You don’t have to be negative 100% of the time.

Pretty disingenuous that you made this clickbait video because Roblox changed "Connections" back to "Friends," while Roblox is actively protecting predators and demanding AI age verification from everyone. You're already rich, you don't need to clickbait this hard. Do better

People have questioned why I do so little GTA 5 speedrunning now. The real reason is I've spent my time off-stream grinding RDR2 speedrunning and I have decided to come clean because I now have World Record. I didn't stream it because I did it simply for the love of the game. Sorry for anyone I have dissapointed.
