I was proud to sign S.B. 202 to ensure elections in Georgia are secure, fair, and accessible. I appreciate the hard work of members of the General Assembly to make it easy to vote and hard to cheat.

It is seriously depressing to read the news out of Georgia. To think there are so many white men who feel it is their duty to make things worse off for others to vote or just live their life is maddening. I genuinely hope these people end up losing everything.

@RustDirt Yes Mert is a distant cousin, and was also a janitor at Fairview Schools. Ore Weislogel was a science teacher in middle school when I was there, too. Busack became a lawyer. Not sure about the others!

@RustDirt Lots of those names are familiar to me! Also note there are some Jewish names. Fairview had a Jewish orphange at the time, and they attended Fairview schools. It was in the red building called the White Horse Inn now!

I decided to play football as a 93 lb Senior in high school. I deserved every concussion and every bit of pain.

@BrentNLiberty @ClevelandSB2022 Back in my little league days, I decided to play ball with my brother in the street. He threw the ball up, I backed up into the neighbors fence and tore all the skin off one side of my face. It was not pretty.

@ClevelandSB2022 When I was like 11 I tried to take my friend’s crappy brake less bike down from the top of Erie St. Ext in Saegertown. A cracked kneecap and several stitches later, I didn’t learn my lesson as I suffered a concussion attempting a similar stunt a few weeks later.

@MckRob28 I’m not one to delve into comments, but... the shrug-it-off-isms of ‘oh they’re just made about the game’ is maddening. There is no defense of these statements. No excusing them.

Retweeting this thread because while it’s hard to look at, it’s harder to look away. In the folo, @EasyE2432 says that comments don’t get to him, but he wants to know why. These get to me. How can they not? And I, too, want to know why.

@JonathanBurdick The Indiana University republican seems to support dissolving the system. Does that mean that they don’t close but all become independent? That would be my question.
