So I can tell you this now, after watching the #WorldCupFinalSpainArgentina half time show, without a doubt, #bts was singing live. You can literally hear Jhope's buttons and accessories clanging around as he moved, and I hate to say it but Jimin went off key just a smidge, but simultaneously these guys just had a concert the night before, so I bet they were all exhausted and running off pure adrenaline, but even that little mistake was eons better then whatever the hell that Madonna thing was....

What you saw this morning (I can't even say last night because he talked so long that the fireworks didn't even begin until July 5th) was the result of oversaturation, poor pacing, and a complete disregard for ability to process. And the entire show took well over twice as long as studies have shown humans can stay actively engaged to a fireworks display.

I did a 17,000 munition launch last night. I would put it up against what DC did any day of the week. On that same note, I've been an engaged member of the pyro community for a lot of years, have done all the major competitions. While I've never won one (there are people who are just light years better than me), I've always performed well, and I can tell you without a doubt the DC show last night would have scored near the bottom of the competition in Sky Wars, Pyrojam or IFC. This isn't to say whomever put this together wasn't talented. This is to say that whomever Trump hired went into the design meeting, got told "more is more" and wasn't able to push back, and ultimately just shrugged their shoulders and gave the customer what he demanded.

The heat index in DC yesterday reached to 115 degrees, which means, IT WAS EXTREMELY HUMID. Holy crap.
