@jamesarosen We've received similar feedback in the past (though, not 10-100x!). Not sure how to justify that kind of pricing tier. Something to think about. Thanks for your feedback, James! Definitely appreciate it.

@hirefireio I got your pricing email this morning. This feedback may be unusual, but you're charging *way too little* for this service. If you could figure out a way to offer some tiering, you could get 10x - 100x from mid-market & enterprise clients.

@MaltheJorgensen Thanks! Configuration is highly dependent on your application. Keeping timeout at 1 and using a low upscale/high downscale sensitivity value is a common approach. This allows you to respond to load increases faster, while scaling back slowly afterwards. Could help with flapping.

As a big Heroku fan, I'm really loving @hirefireio – just what the CFO ordered! 💰😋 What's the recommended scale-up/scale-down interval (sensitivity and timeout) – my app is scaling every 1-3 minutes is this fine or way too much?

@sentwithlasers The open source variant has been archived as it's no longer being maintained, nor is it compatible with Heroku's current stack. The commercial version at hirefire.io is actively maintained.

@kev_the_dev It's not in the documentation. It's really straightforward when you're setting up a dyno managers. Within the same form you have the option to enable threshold notifications.

SSL issue is now resolved. App accessible again. Might have to wait for your cache to clear (or clear it manually).

@brettgoulder is this unexpected behaviour? Just enabled it, updated dns records, now the status is “verified”, so one step away from “OK”?
