It's amusing that the only way "Hamilton" could make the American Revolution seem cool in 2016 was by having a Cuban-looking cast wildly exaggerate its vaguely redistributive and abolitionist leanings in song. Clintonites were clapping like seals to "Fidel: The Musical."
