Deeply honored to be awarded 1st Place for this week's challenge! Many thanks to the team at Hive3 and to @iamneubert from whom I have learned so much over these past few months. I prompted a number of images exploring concepts about the hotel and I'll share some of those soon. In the end, I imagined that we'd have already seen some of those shots in the moodfilm up to that point, and the brand needed an image that would be a compelling moment within the story to showcase the name of the resort. For me, it was the essence of private, luxurious relaxation in a setting that emphasized nature and sustainability. That feeling also found itself in the name I chose for the resort: Gaia, the personification of Earth in Greek mythology, and the mother of all creation. Congratulations to my fellow finalists as well as the community favorites! I really encourage everyone to visit the competition page and to view all the entries. A lot of hard work went into them and they are a showcase of beautiful creativity. (Warning: will make you want to go on vacation, stat!)
