Residual Field Portal Activation: TSTC Screens Location: Hong Kong Date: AN-26-03 Relation: Urban portal activation: TSTC screens HKWALLS Festival 2026 Division: Planet An Archive Entry Urban screen activation as part of HKWALLS Festival 2026 (March 20–29, Hong Kong). A transient structure emerges within the city's visual field stabilizing briefly before dissolving back into signal. Across the TSTC screens, the system unfolds as a temporary portal-like field embedded into the urban environment. The structure does not remain. It appears, stabilizes, and dissolves. During the activation period, a stable video recording of the signal is being captured preserving the moment of its presence within the city before the portal closes. @HKwalls

Archive Entry Residual Field Urban screen installation presented during HKWALLS Festival 2026 in Hong Kong. The activation extends into Kai Tak, where the structure unfolds across a different architectural field. Although the visual language remains consistent, the movement within the portals shifts slightly.
The differences are subtle, almost unnoticeable at first glance. The work is built on the impossibility of simultaneous perception 
both locations cannot be fully experienced at the same time. As a result, the memory of the structure becomes unstable.
What seemed identical begins to drift. A slight distortion appears. Memory no longer aligns with what was seen. Part of the ongoing artistic research Anomalitism. @HKwalls #hkwalls2026 #hongkongartweek #artbaselhongkong
