A (super cute!!) pet photo from Catturd™ gets literally 50x the engagement of a link to incredibly important original reporting from the NYT on Iran. According to your own on-site numbers @nikitabier. Do you consider this to be a desirable outcome?

🟠Eski CIA analisti Johnson: Pilot kurtarma operasyonu aslında doğrudan bir kara harekâtıydı - 400 milyon dolar değerinde hava aracı kaybedildi – Trump delirdi 🔹İskoç kökenli politikacı ve televizyon/radyo sunucusu George Galloway’in sunduğu The Mother of All Talkshows (MOATS) programına konuk olan eski CIA analisti ve BERG Associates kurucusu Larry C. Johnson, ABD’nin son askeri operasyonuna dair çarpıcı iddialarda bulundu.

Went and saw Project Hail Mary last night. It was pretty amazing. I laughed, I cried (seriously like 3 times) and I watched a movie with a sense of wonder and awe that I hadn’t experienced in a theater since I was a kid. 5/5 stars.

The Biblical Man
The Biblical Man@Biblicalman·
Joseph of Arimathea pulled a corpse off a cross with his bare hands. Blood under his fingernails. The weight of a dead man sagging into his arms. He wrapped God in linen, pressed the fabric into wounds that were still wet. Nicodemus brought seventy-five pounds of burial spice. A king's funeral for a man the world just murdered. They carried Him into a hole in the rock and rolled the stone shut. And everything you've ever done went in with Him. Every night you can't sleep because of what you did. Every morning, you can't look in the mirror. The thing you did to her. The thing you did to them. The lie you've been carrying so long it feels like bone. The version of you that drinks alone and pretends tomorrow will be different. That man was buried with Christ. Stone sealed. Done. Not managed. Not in therapy. Not on a payment plan with God where you slowly earn your way back. Buried. In a tomb. Under rock. Gone. Three days of silence. Three days of a cold body in the dark. Then the stone moved. And when He walked out, the grave clothes were folded on the slab. He didn't stumble out tangled in death. He left it sitting there like a man who's done with the clothes he used to wear. Lazarus needed someone to unwrap him. Death still clung to him even after he was breathing. Jesus folded His own burial linen and walked out clean. That's the difference between religion and resurrection. Religion unwraps you slowly. Asks you to manage your sin. Attend the class. Read the book. Try harder next week. Resurrection says the man who walked into that tomb is dead. The man who walked out doesn't know him. You're not fixing the old you. The old you is in a sealed tomb in Jerusalem, and he's not coming back. The man reading this, the one who thinks he's too far gone, you're not too far. You're already buried. The funeral happened two thousand years ago. Now get up. The stone's already moved. The linen's already folded. Walk out.

My wife and I are only now coming to terms with the idea that this auto accident in which she was involved is going to cost us a great deal. 100% the other guy’s fault. Police report confirms - Both drivers fully insured. Here’s the thing. 2013 Honda Accord (despite the fact that it is in mint condition, especially the interior. Never parked outside no scratches no dirt clean as the day we bought it. 3.5 L VTEC V6 engine with 90,000 (probably good to three 300,000 definitely good to 200,000). The blue book on that is maybe $8,000. We haven’t heard from the insurance company yet, but my guess is they’re gonna total it pay out and make me buy back the salvage and go through all the paperwork. Otherwise I’m back in car payments. Hunter doesn’t even put V6s in the Accords anymore. This really sucks.

I just had a very disturbing Good Friday encounter with an ICE agent at the airport As I was going through security, an ICE agent asked me for my ID. I told him this isn’t Soviet Russia and that the only citizenship papers I planned to show him were the Declaration of Independence “Sir, I’m just asking for ID, not proof of citizenship,” he said. “Today is the anniversary of Jesus’s resurrection,” I replied. “He was an American. Would you have asked to see his papers too? Would the scars on his hands not have been enough for you?” He was stunned silent. I strode past him without showing my ID and went through the metal detector I received a standing ovation

I want to take you back to 2023 for a moment… a story that still gives me chills every time I think about it. That year, I was introduced to two incredible young men from Gadsden, Alabama—Ja’Torrian (JT) and Tevin (TJ). Their story didn’t start with a plan… it started with a moment. They were drive home one day when they saw something that didn’t sit right with them, an elderly woman outside trying to mow her lawn… holding onto the mower with one hand and her walker with the other. JT looked over and said, “Is she going to fall? I need to go mow the lawn for her.” And just like that… everything changed. That one decision, one act of concern gave birth to JT & TJ Mowing. When I first heard their story, I couldn’t help but think back to how this all started for me… seeing an elderly man struggling and pulling over to help. It’s amazing how one moment can turn into something so much bigger. A good friend of mine, Rick, told me about these two, and I knew I had to go meet them myself. When I got there, they were using an old mower… nothing fancy at all. But what stood out wasn’t the equipment, it was their heart. With what they had, they were getting the job done and making a real difference. That day, it was an honor to name JT and TJ as Honorary Members of the 50 Yard Challenge. And now, they’ve got new equipment… and an even bigger opportunity to keep serving their community. I’m still so proud of these young men. Because their story is a reminder that you don’t need perfect conditions to start… you just need a heart that cares. JT & TJ, keep being great. The world needs more of what you have. And Family—if you know a child out there making a difference in their community by mowing lawns, nominate them. They could be our next Honorary Member.

Hatton, America is back
During a traffic stop, a man is frisked and a female officer notices a concealed firearm strapped to the mans waist, on attempting to remove the firearm, she causes the weapon to discharge striking the man in the thigh, the female officer seems in shock and doesn't say anything to the man, however the Sergeant who's with her apologies several times. Do you think it's a lack of her training and experience that caused this incident ? I am surprised she didn't utter an apology, she did look extremely confused.

@jnottah The problem was that the armed individual had the gun cocked and locked with the hammer back which greatly increases the risk of an accidental discharge now granted the officer should’ve noted that before attempting removal
