Finally, there are 4 ballot initiatives in Washington that you need to know about: 1️⃣I-2109 would repeal Washington’s capital gains tax, which would eliminate over $2 billion over five years in funding for education initiatives. 2️⃣I-2117 would eliminate Washington’s carbon market — which would eliminate billions of dollars for public transportation, climate-resilient communities, and clean air and water. 3️⃣I-2124 would dismantle WA Cares and could strip 3 million workers of their earned benefits. 4️⃣I-2066 repeals and prohibits protections on transitioning Washington away from natural gas to clean energy. Folks, voting NO on these initiatives is crucial to protecting important progressive policies in your state!
