@MarieHalan I use Claude Code, it's smart enough to figure out how to query system logs (with PowerShell) and I told it to read the Fortnite logs - it found the dir. All I told it is to figure it out!

My aging gaming PC started consistenly rebooting after loading the map in certain games (Fortnite, Hitman).
I let Claude loose on the logs. IT FOUND THE ROOT CAUSE!
A Windows update KB5079473 (cumulative security update installed March 11, 2026) shipped a new AMD CPU microcode that is incompatible old BIOS on my motherboard (ROG Strix B450-I).
The update seemed to cause some L2-cache related fuckups... and a BIOS update fixed it!
I never EVER would have figured this out on my own!

@Polothx Just told it to go inspect. Pointed it to the game logs dir, told it it wad crashing. It first suggested a hardware failure, I told it the hardware is fine and keep digging. So it went at it on its own.

@TakeYourPhysic I mean, we would spend hours on this before, exhausting every reddit post and unanswered forum full of "me too" complaints.
Or we can just have robots do it for us. Future is amazing!

@hmemcpy I had a similar issue. Kept getting random, inconsistent PC crashes. Let claude loose on the diagnostics and turned out I just needed to turn my RAM XMP profile down a notch. Claude is amazing for this kind of thing.

@seanparsons I mean, I expected this to be a driver issue or similar, but instead of manually going through the Event Log or analyzing a crash dump I asked Claude to do it. And it found some hardware errors at CPU level, I could never!
