Socialism is just foreplay to get you excited, then Communism comes along and screws the hell out of you.

🚨REPORT🚨
The Trump administration is easing its asylum restrictions, according to CBS.
It is lifting a pause on asylum processing, with the exception of cases involving individuals from the 39 countries included in the president’s travel ban.
The DHS sources I’ve spoken to have expressed their displeasure with the administration softening up on mass deportations as well.

English

@neeratanden That makes the FACT people are fleeing even more difficult to understand. You have to screw up pretty bad to have people pick up everything they have and leave because they have had enough.
English

This is a gorgeous state. No place like it on earth. Never understood the hate towards the state, except envy from the right wingers.
Mitt@MittCPA
the california propaganda will continue

@HustleBitch_ He's bored with the speaker. I've seen him engaged and energetic for hours at a time, almost daily. He gives press conferences and cabinet meetings constantly. To try to insinuate that he is not 110% is total BS.
English

@Gopher__Everett @MattWalshBlog I think Matt often just goes for the clicks.
English

@MattWalshBlog Could it be because X is a far-right MAGA cess pool where the cultists are in a non stop echo chamber of supporting everything Trump does?

I’ve never seen such a disconnect between the commentary on this site and what I hear in the real world. I’ve talked to dozens of normal conservatives in real life about the Iran War and I haven’t met a single one who’s actually enthusiastically in favor of it. At best they’re warily optimistic. In most cases they’re opposed. In some cases they’re not only opposed but deeply furious. And yet here if you utter a word of criticism about the war you’ll be shouted down by throngs of alleged American conservatives who allegedly have wanted nothing more than for America to go to war with Iran. It just doesn’t reflect what I see on the ground. That’s not just cope because my position is unpopular with “my side.” I’ve held plenty of unpopular positions. I really don’t care. But in this case the social media vs real world divide is stark and unlike anything I’ve seen before.

@iris_seraphina There should be an emergency stop right next to all this madness. But you can't make a panic video if you stop the escolator.
English

@Chloe89185 Yes, they often are, but then again, they often aren't. But playing politics when our soldiers are engaged is definitely moronic.

@hoffman1953 Those who call others morons are often the ones who are morons themselves.

Pulled Over by His Own Hairline:
Excessive Force or ‘Workaholic Justice’? 😂
Is this a legendary takedown 🏆 or…Excessive force…
Black Dodge Charger hits 104 mph on highway…
Then he pulls a U-turn, drives the WRONG WAY like it’s GTA 5, and almost turns rush hour into a demolition derby.
Cops run into his ass like a NASCAR wrecking ball. Game over.
Driver gets “helped” into the squad car… BY HIS HAIR.
Next thing you know he’s in the back kicking seats like it’s a mosh pit at a “I Hate My Boss” concert, screaming “I’m Fired!!” Yep, this was about him being late for work.
JUSTIFIED or EXCESSIVE?
Drop your verdict in the comments…
I’m over here dying.

@MagisterIR @DanielLMcAdams Tell me again what war have we lost? And we are getting our equivalents from Persia and Alexander?
English

Persia was the equivalent of the US at the time of Alexander, a bloated hegemon that was corrupt to the core that totally underestimated Alexander and the Macedonians. That underestimation is why they lost and why the US will eventually lose this war too as it has lost every other war it has fought since the end of WWII.
English

@DietHeartNews @DanielLMcAdams "Axios is reporting that the Vietnam War draft-dodging president and his psychotic Secretary of War". Yeah, this will be unbiased.
English

Axios is reporting that the Vietnam War draft-dodging president and his psychotic Secretary of War are drafting options for a “final blow” against Iran - including a 72-hour nonstop bombing campaign plus a ground invasion with 10,000 Marines (82nd Airborne) and Army Rangers.
Col. Douglas MacGregor (US Army, retired) warns that any US troops trying to land on Kharg Island in the Persian Gulf or on the coast of the Strait will face catastrophic losses. “It’s a suicide mission,” says MacGregor, "Iran has formidable firepower in place."
Also, the geography favors Iran: 2,000 km coastline and steep mountains overlooking the coast and islands. Macgregor says a successful U.S. assault is highly unlikely: "How will they get troops to the landing areas? How will they be resupplied under withering artillery and drone attacks from Iran?"
As Trump flails about, thrashing around for a victory over Iran, he is threatening to take on a risky military operation he has no experience or understanding of. Ironically, if he proceeds, as MacGregor warns, he is about to turn the #IranWar into an even bigger military and political disaster.

@WyattCatarina This is what happens when you want men to bring out their feminine side.

In 2016, JD Vance called Trump “America’s Hitler.” Three years later, Peter Thiel personally walked him through the front door at Mar-a-Lago.
Thiel had hired Vance out of law school, backed his startup, then did something that had never been done before — poured $15 million into Vance’s 2022 Ohio Senate campaign. The single largest donation ever made to one Senate candidate.
Tucker Carlson lobbied Trump to endorse Vance. He won. The day after the Butler assassination attempt, Tucker, Musk, and David Sacks launched what Axios called a secret lobbying campaign to put Vance on the ticket.
Thiel built him. Tucker sold him. Musk sealed the deal.
Since Vance took office, Palantir — Thiel’s company — has nearly doubled its federal contracts. From $541 million to close to $1 billion. In one year.
Now the Iran conflict is escalating. Vance is silent. The Irish Times noted it. Reporters in Michigan called his Iran comments lukewarm.
He hasn’t condemned Tucker. He hasn’t condemned Candace Owens. Silicon Valley money keeps flowing. Rust Belt voters stay loyal. Establishment Republicans don’t walk.
Every door stays open at once.
That’s not what loyalty looks like. That’s what 2028 looks like.
