It’s crazy to me that these suckers were going for $119 on release and now go for around $65 on eBay.

Got an email asking for my bank account info because a company exited and they needed to figure out distributions
Marked it as spam, didn't think of it. Founder texts me saying they're waiting on me.
So if you wanna know how my investing is going, just know that an email about returns is so foreign to me that I assumed it was a scam

I had zero idea this set even came out today since it was one I wasn’t interested in.
I hope the people who actually want to collect it can find it today. But I’m sure most of the people that said it’s a terrible set will still load up and hoard it and scalpers will still try to flip it for $3.23 in profit.

Not the same but kinda: I posted some boxes up for 90% market on Facebook marketplace. For two whole weeks, everyone lowballed me to hell.
I finally raised the price to over market to test out a theory and someone immediately bought it at 98% market.
Everyone just wants to feel like they’re ripping off the other guy. That they won. That’s it.

Coming to terms with the fact that a large part of the Pokemon community will never be happy with pricing. Two days ago we sold sealed cases (something you can't get in store) 20% below market and many were very quick to bring up MSRP. When the markets dead they will want below MSRP "like other shops" In a raging market they will want MSRP or "you're a scalper" Sad

@0xClownish @Jaime_21R @hokagedisciple @deadsh0t242 people say that but don’t realize how many of us have sat in queues for 2, 3, 4 hours just to get nothing, blocked by PCI, crashes, etc. its not an easy process for the average consumer because of the amount of bots, discord drop notifications, twitter accounts, etc.
