@mattyglesias We had a Virginia Constitutional vote to stop partisan gerrymandering just a few years ago and this still happened, so I'm open to new ideas.

Again, if Republicans want to stop partisan gerrymandering they should vote for Democrats’ proposal for a national ban on partisan gerrymandering.
If they don’t want to stop it, then stop whining.

@bungarsargon We had a Virginia Constitutional amendment approved to "do the right thing" for democracy just a few years ago. Threw that one in the bin awful fast they did.

@PeterMallouk Definitely agree -- and poor transparency in pricing also drives it. College and medical both have terrible transparency in pricing. "GasBuddy" works because pricing is transparent. Tylenol shouldn't cost $50.

@Accountable2019 Imagine thinking taxes paid is only related to the Federal + State rate. They're drivers, but deduction levels, credits, incentives, and many other factors drive actual taxes paid. eg. People deducted credit card interest back in the early 1980s. Not anymore.

@PuddlePirate77 @IanTLovejoy I believe Mr. Lovejoy is referring to the Governor's earlier (~6 years ago) rejection of gerrymandering. Of course, she flipped her position to push her agenda. I believe Mr. Lovejoy supports the current Constitutional amendment -- hence his vote of "no".
