What was the last classic you read?

@BeardofDarkness When my oldest one was 5 we went to cinema first time ever to watch Pets 2. The experience of the large screen and the loud sound was amazing enough for him. I don't know what your son usually prefers but maybe a kid's movie would be more fun - just a thought 🤷🏻‍♂️

Opinions Wanted: My oldest child, Jackson, is 5 years old and due to, basically, 6 straight years of having babies one after another, I have yet to do a lot of 1 on 1 time with him. So, on Friday Night I was thinking I would take him to the movies (his first time ever) to see Dune 2, and before you comment “he won’t understand all aspects of the movie” I will say…DUH! He enjoyed the first movie, so based on that, I thought it would be great for our 1 on 1. So, my question is, “what is your opinion on my idea? Does Dune 2 have more scenes that are inappropriate in comparison to the first? Thanks!

@Nickyshearsby22 I do high concept mystery thrillers with a lot of science in it. For my current WIP "Aching Deep" I had scientists, science journalists and other experts from Slovenia, South Africa and Germany who gave me advise. Searching for testreaders of the ARC now. Interested 🤔

I've just started reading a novel, and already in the 2nd chapter, I'm questioning if the author did any research at all. How far down the rabbit hole of research do you go to in order to create believable storylines?

I’m not usually one to talk about my personal life and feelings, but I know I can with this community, so I will. I am still here in the hospital. This is the end of Day 11 and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t struggling to find a “silver lining”. I have been doing this since 2005 (15 years old). This is not a pity post, just blowing off stream. I miss my family and my friends here in the community. Thanks for listening/reading because this helps to just be human and say that things aren’t always golden.

@tothemax2050 My debut novel Ice and Prey is taking place in Greenland. Although it's a mystery-horror thriller it includes a lots of Inuit characters and a lot of facts about Inuit history and culture in Greenland 🇬🇱
