@DykeLyrics I think best not too judge too quickly. Online is just a sliver of people’s reality and they also may not support BLM but still advocate for racial equity in a different way. My approach is focus on what I can do and not get too distracted by what I think others aren’t doing 🙏🏾

We all have the potential to be activists in the quest for a wiser and kinder world. "What is mine to do?" - this might help you work that out.

The entire possibility of social progress, hinges on our ability to change, evolve and challenge our own minds. We must start to value moral evolution over moral perfection or we are in danger of stalling progress altogether.

As long as you tell people they are irredeemably awful, instead of casualties of a world that is threatened by difference, you won’t end discrimination, you’ll increase it.

Peace is not passive. Compassion is not cowardice. Empathy is not excusing. These are all acts of strength.
