If you feel depressed don't give up. Find a band of brothers and share in struggles. Nothing cures depression faster than putting yourself in uncomfortable situations.

The same beliefs that keep first responders safe on scene. Are the same beliefs that are destroying our lives off shift. On a fire we need to push through. At Home, we need to pull back. In order for us to survive the job, we have to more than just first responders.

Change doesn’t happen on January 1st. It happens the moment you stop saying “later.” Discipline isn’t seasonal. Decisions don’t need a timeframe.
