By the time Jess was a year old she had eaten every conceivable colour, shape and variety of fruit and vegetable. If it could be steamed and pureed it was and my sweet Jess obligingly ate it. 1/5 🧵

When your child has an unusual name and they die, you hardly ever hear it used by anyone else. No one calling their son of the same name in the park or at school. So it was unexpectedly good to hear ‘Larsen’ more than once on the Wolves commentary today ❤️

@4myJessBrady @Cancer … high grade and it had grown so much in that time it was almost inoperable and the operation was so much bigger and riskier and we almost couldn’t find a surgeon to do it. I will never forget his consultant saying to me ‘your mother’s intuition was right all along’. 💔

@4myJessBrady @Cancer Thank you for sharing and for continuing to fight for faster diagnosis for children and young people, Andrea. Larsen was misdiagnosed repeatedly for a year - first a lazy eye and then a low grade benign tumour. When they eventually agreed to biopsy they discovered it was….
