@KateBurkeNHS I still have all my school reports from the 1980s. Recently discovered a colleague (we’re invigilators) wrote my third year (year 9 in current money) biology report, apparently I was ‘sometimes distracted’ - we had a chuckle about that!

@tamsingreenway @SkyNetball Less teams to intensify the competition. Plus a ‘second division’ alongside it linked to the franchises - NZ and Aus have something like that. However, the NPL U17/19/21 structure needs to be accessible geographically to provide opportunities for all. A lot to consider!

@NetballComments Fair point, however, SSN has 8 teams and Australia have managed to serve England, Jamaica & South Africa as well as themselves through it so I think there’s definitely scope for less teams improving standards.

It puzzles me as to why the National Coach of Scotland would think chopping the league down to 8 teams would be a great idea for her side as well as Wales & N.Ireland? Losing potentially 45 players from the League will impact Home Nations surely? Don’t get the logic 🤷🏻‍♂️

@dalecharlottem No, just musing in response to TG saying the league needs to be reduced to 8. Yes SSN is 8 and NZ is 6, but our 10 gives x4 netball nations ability to have their players playing best league in Northern Hemisphere.

Are all senior netball teams the same? You have like 11 players and either everyone turns up on the same day or you can barely scrape together 7. We had 7 (but 6 for half a game) the first week, 10 last game and now only 7 again this week 🤣
