@blackCatVaxxed @Bob_Wachter CVS does allow mix-match, had 3 Pfizer and today a Moderna. Just have to choose the pharmacy with the vaccine desired.

@Bob_Wachter I went with “it’s got to be better than nothing” with a forth jab of Pfizer. Don’t know if CVS with NYS would allow mixing unless I got special script.

Whither “mix-and-match” for 2nd booster? After 3 Pfizers, I saw it as a toss-up, pitting fact that I tolerated Pfizer well vs. marginal efficacy advantage of Moderna & theoretical evidence of broader immunity w/mixing. In the end, I went with Grandma Rule: “It couldn’t hurt.”

@RepSeanMaloney I support you, Representative Maloney,but not on this. A full investigation, yes. Let’s follow the facts. This was the Governor’s hallmark approach to Covid and I would like to see the same thing here. I am disappointed in your “bandwagoning” at this point. Facts first please.

@PutnamHealthNY Will people 65+ ever be eligible for vaccination through PCDOH? Right now you seem to be 75+ only.

@melissadderosa Putnam County had NO vaccines for 65+. Pharmacy rollout is a joke. Right across the line, Connecticut has many available spots for its 65+ residents. Likewise in CO and many other states. Why? What is Ny doing wrong?

@BobNoxious123 @hangriffin_ @NYGovCuomo Somebody pointed out it was only for 65+ under current cancer care. Sorry I don’t know the details.

@holmes_lt @hangriffin_ @NYGovCuomo then only cancer patients that are 65+ or in the working groups of teachers, police, etc... (and now restaurant dishwashers), are allowed. The hospital cannot give out to any others.

@BobNoxious123 @hangriffin_ @NYGovCuomo My understanding is that they are following the system rules and only those who meet the current NYS phase guidelines are eligible. There are forms to that effect when applying, just like at the NYS-run vax sites.

@hangriffin_ @NYGovCuomo Talk to your dad’s oncologist. Some hospitals, such as Sloan Kettering in NYC, have appointments for patients under active care.

@melissadderosa Putnam County vax are a shambles. 2/3s union, 1/3 +75, with meager supplies. NYS sites have no appointments. Pharmacies? Their line is “wait for the State.” I’ve been a loyal supporter, but NYS is peanuts compared to surrounding states. Get your boots on the ground @NYGovCuomo
