@JavierVeg_ With the way the 5th YO works now, given he probably won't hit PT or Pro Bowl thresholds, I bet we still would. It won't be a lot to exercise it and probably at or below market value for that level of WR

I'm still leaning DE Cashius Howell for the #49ers at 33, but if they could guarantee (they can't) that the first three picks fell like this, I'd consider that an A+ Day 2.

@holmgrownpod @mockdraftdb Max Iheanachor has been my #1 but im wondering if they are going to go tackle with the pick now because of the Trent deal having bought more time. All of the EDGE players i listed would be over drafted with a 1st, but all of the higher rated EDs are more edge setters.

@mrshanedelreal @mockdraftdb Wouldn’t be mad at any of that. Would prefer lawrence in the first but wouldn’t be mad at RMT later. Seems Dee Fordish. My ideal is Max Ihenachor in the first because his ceiling is sky high but that doesn’t address initial needs. My gut says Shanahan goes WR in the 1st though

@holmgrownpod @mockdraftdb Don't like Cooper Jr for the 49ers. Sloppy routes and poor blocking means no playing time as a rookie. Id honestly rather they trade back into the early 2nd if AZ or NYJ is looking at Simpson . Then you have 2 2nds and you could take a swing at a Chris Bell.

Two noteworthy things... 1. Seattle is playing 2 straight games against the 49ers. Very unusual 2. The SF defense the Seahawks will face should look significantly different from its Week 18 version - Eric Kendricks solidified at MLB - Garret Wallow solidified at WLB - Marques Sigle back at safety - Fred Warner out of the bullpen? (unlikely but not ruled out)
