Ironic since best rugby team in world @AllBlacks have reduced their carb intake over past 5 years; @EnglandRugby also. @LFC as well.
Diet is about 24hr/day health and high nutrient density to speed up recovery. Hi carb foods don't do that.
Not just about doing anaerobic sprints.

@ProfTimNoakes @KearsneyNews A school here in NZ did that as they were a boarding school and being fed a lot of rubbish but the 1st XV coach blasted the policy and said his boys needed carbs to fuel them for the game.....regardless of fat vs carbs for fuel, last time I checked rugby was an anaerobic sport
