Stop the Welsh Government slipping through illegal legislation changes unchallenged.

@bt_uk can you explain why my elderly grandparents with major health issues have been left with no phone after your error 1 month ago? Serious risk to health, they can't use mobile.

I wish people would stop interfering in young LGBT people’s right to be treated with dignity, equality and without discrimination. If @Urdd had this kind of safe space on the Maes when I was a gay teenager it might have made growing up gay a bit easier. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-…

Saying it’s ‘disgusting’ that teachers are policing school toilets…. No, it’s disgusting that professionals have to spend their time guarding the toilets from vandalism or protecting children from bullying by other children in the toilet area. Please focus on the cause, rather than the effect, just for once.

Many countries are falling short when it comes to investing in public education. Quality education is not a luxury - it is a human right. The #GlobalGoals call for inclusive, quality education for all. un.org/sustainabledev…

Ahead of our next Ministerial check-in for our inquiry into education reforms we want you to send us your thoughts on how things are happening on the ground, #curriculum #ALN. Deadline for submission is 24 April ow.ly/TLWN50NbZXe

Thanks to @LabourPonty for a good discussion on our vision for education - the best start in life for every child whatever your background, good vocational as well as academic routes & lifelong learning as a nation of second chances, where it’s never too late to learn.

Education is a fundamental human right. Any solution to the world’s problems starts with education, the greatest tool we have to fulfil and grow human potential.

There's a difficulty in having a #FairHearing4HomeEd that needs discussing. @NickGibb's comments in the #PetitionsDebate got me thinking of it. So, local authorities think some children are not receiving a suitable education. They should use their s.437 powers in those cases. 1/

It's the end of term, and I'd like to say a big diolch to all school staff, pupils, parents and carers 👇

No child should have to worry about going hungry over the school holidays. I am pleased we have been able to extend free holiday provision to the May half term. Contact your local authority to find out whether you qualify. gov.wales/free-school-me…

Welsh Labour are intent on pushing ahead with a tourism tax and running the sector into the ground. This will hammer Wales’ vital hospitality and tourism sector. This is not what the industry wants, this is not what the industry needs and these ludicrous plans must be dropped.

Despite important progress, autistic people continue to face barriers to the full exercise of their rights & fundamental freedoms. We must do better – by promoting inclusive education, equal employment opportunities & an environment where every person is respected.
