Tomorrow marks 18 years since the moment that changed the trajectory of my life forever 🔀 Christmas Eve 2007. A day that easily could have been the end of my story, but instead became the start of a new chapter. A moment that stripped everything back, challenged me in ways I never expected, and demanded a level of strength I didn’t know was even possible. Eighteen years later, I’m still moving forward. When I look back, it’s incredible to see just how much has changed since that day. What once felt impossible has led to opportunities I never thought I’d have, friendships that have shaped me, and a version of myself I couldn’t have imagined back then. If there’s one thing that experience has taught me, it’s this. Life will hit you hard. There’s no avoiding that. But it’s not the knockdowns that define us, it’s how we respond to them. There is always a path forward, even when you can’t see it yet. Gratitude, perspective, and purpose have carried me through, and I try every day to use what I’ve learned to remind others of what they’re capable of too. So yes, tomorrow marks a tough anniversary, but it’s also something to honour. A reminder of resilience, of the people who’ve stood beside me, of the opportunities that came from adversity, and of the lessons that continue to shape my life. If you’re reading this and you’re in a hard place right now, know this. You are stronger than you think. Growth, progress, and possibilities are still ahead of you. The difficult days don’t define us, they refine us. Here’s to living life with No Limits. Merry Christmas, legends 🎄👊 #MarkOrmrod

This Christmas, a lot of people will be working hard to keep our country safe, often away from their families. We invited public sector workers to Downing Street for an early Christmas dinner to say thank you.

James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.” Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says: “You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."
