The Hooligans were busy over the bank holiday weekend - including a gig at The Railway Arms, a wonderful community-owned pub in our home town of Saffron Walden. Brilliant atmosphere, with a big crows and lots of end-of-summer joy and dancing to our Irish jigs and reels - which we combine with ballads, airs and other "singalong" favourites. We were delighted that pop/punk icon @Feargal_Sharkey and his wife, music historian Elizabeth Sharkey - author of "Why Britain Rocked" – drove up from London to watch us play. The Undertones legend is pictured with band members Maeve Halligan (fiddle, keyboards, lead vocals), Lewis Naughton (cajon) and Liam Halligan (guitar, backing vocals) @hooligansbandUK
