Thank God some of us went to school and we are well educated. “He didn’t attack Peller, he only used him as a case study because he’s an unintelligent content creator.” Peller is meant to just clap for him for that? What else is that if not an attack or indirect slap? SMH

You grew up watching Aki and Paw paw, but you don't want you or your kids to watch Peller. Peller is the president of the Gen Z in Nigeria. He will make a name for himself.

Seen that video and tbh I don't think there's any shade to Peller because Peller is just doing what works. He found an audience, he's feeding it, he's winning by the metrics available to him. That doesn't make him stupid in any way...it's not an insult to him. The core argument is that we Nigerians have normalized and keep rewarding low-effort, low-intelligence public figures to the point where it's reshaping cultural values, especially for young people. Peller isn't doing anything harmful per se, but the engagement he gets in relation to people doing more important things says so much about the audience. Now, so many people believe you don't need to build anything or know anything to become influential on social media. When intelligent students in schools sees an olodo with nothing to offer having millions of followers online, getting brand deals, buying cars and houses while their very intelligent seniors have nothing to show for finishing school with good grades, they begin to see school as not so important after all. He didn't criticise Peller, he is criticising everyone that made Peller and people like Peller, the influential figure that they are today; a kind of dominant template. Peller is only a symptom of the sickness we are suffering from as a society.

As long as I'm concerned, Ycee is very wrong for mentioning Pellers name in his podcast. You and Peller are not even age mates or friends or even roll together just like he rolls with Davido, Carter efe, Geh Geh and Chiefpriest If someone can contain insults from his pals, it doesn't mean he would contain insults from a random person. If Cubana chief priests insults peller tomorrow, he will have no or less reaction compared to someone he doesn't roll with. Ycee is just a jealous guy who is pained that peller is achieving what he couldn't achieve at a young age. If elders don't respect themselves, anything they see from younger ones, they would take it. All Ycee just did was to use Pellers name for clout in order to revive his oblivious career. Peller is just 5 years in the industry and he's about to tie the knot, but Ycee is almost 15 years in the entertainment industry and has no home, no wife, no child. Shame on him!

YCEE owes Peller a public apology. Calling someone an "Olodo" simply because they didn't go to school is unnecessary and disr€sp£_ctful. Peller is an entertainer, and YCEE knows that. You don't have to like his content, but att@(( _king his educational background instead of addressing the issue of job opportunities in Nigeria misses the point entirely. If we're being honest, if people were asked what is educational or inspiring about most of YCEE's songs, many would struggle to give an answer. They're both entertainers, just in different industries. The funny part? I doubt YCEE would speak to IShowSpeed or Kai Cenat that way. Neither of them built their success because they went to college because they didn’t. They built massive careers through entertainment and personality. Formal education is valuable, but it is not the only measure of intelligence, success, or impact. Criticize his opinion on issues if you want, but don't ins¥lt someone's educational background to make your point. YCEE should do the right thing and publicly apologize to Peller.

Peller said he saved ₦100m and decided not touching the money, the same boy bought car and a house—even for his parents, how many graduates can boast of such? Instead of you attacking the Government, you shifted blame on a boy who’s trying to fit in the system

We grew up watching people like Sanyeri, Okele and many others. Most of them were not educated either, yet nobody had a problem watching and supporting them. But because it is Peller, a young guy doing well for himself, suddenly everyone has an issue. The funny thing is that this same guy has helped many people, paid rents, paid school fees and given others opportunities that changed their lives. You do not have to like his content, but acting like someone cannot be successful because they are not educated makes no sense. If his content is not for you, simply move on and let those who enjoy it enjoy it.

I accidentally started a Group FaceTime with my current boyfriend AND my ex-boyfriend at the same time while trying to clear my call log. 😭 They both picked up. They just stared at each other for 5 seconds before my ex said, So this is the downgrade? and my current boyfriend said, Why is this grandpa on the line?' I hung up and threw my phone across the room 📱💥

I just think most men are too lackadaisical about stuff like this. When they meet a woman, they let her fill that void and completely surrender that responsibility to her. Unless I don’t live in that house, I know where everything in the house is. I know when something needs to be replaced.

Yea, I once read studies showing that women, on average, outperform men in object-location memory. It’s one of those average gendered differences.
