This is an election I couldn’t predict because I saw Vijay as the X-factor, and only as X factor. I never expected TVK to take this kind of lead; I think traditional DMK and ADMK voters either didn't see this coming or simply can't accept it. This is truly the combined energy of Gen Z. They have infused so much energy in his campaign that the effects of it is unprecedented. Those who stuck by Vijay must have felt this confidence all along. I was in regular contact with some TVK backers who told me from day one that they would form the government. At that time, I couldn't believe it, and I actually thought they were being naive or immature. Going by these trends, they are being proven right and I am wrong. If these early trends hold, we are clearly staring at a massive Vijay wave.
