@JacobKGilbert Enticement is nonsense. An unbeliever who enters the Trib can still repent. Most don't, but the hope is they will repent. Unbelievers don't believe God is real. In the Trib, He proves He's real and is all-powerful, in the 21 judgments. The 144k (Rev 7:1-8) are there to assist.

@horsepro001 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of TEMPTATION, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.  (Revelation 3:10, KJV, Emphasis mine) It’s temptation, not Tribulation… meaning enticement to sin.

@JacobKGilbert Do you know who the great multitude is in Rev 7:9-17? They enter the Trib as unbelievers. Many repent and become new converts. Their "fellow servants" are found in Rev 20:4. Their resurrection is in its last sentence. They're next in Heaven, in Rev 7:9-17.

@horsepro001 Again, the Greek word translated as “trial” in the ESV means “to entice to commit sins,” not “tribulation.” And please read Rev 6:11. It shows that “their brethren, that they should be killed as they were…” this is during the tribulation, as you put it.

@JacobKGilbert Are you recognizing the two different groups in Rev 3:10? "You" means "you believers." "Those" means "those unbelievers." Jesus very negatively elaborated upon "those" by adding "those who dwell on the earth." That phrase is defined in Rev 6:10 and Rev 11:10. Are we they?

@JacobKGilbert Please read Rev 6:10 and Rev 11:10. Both cite "those who dwell on the earth." Those in Rev 6:10 are murderous thugs. Those in Rev 11:10 rejoice over the deaths of the Two Witnesses (two of God's servants during the Trib).

@JacobKGilbert Wrong. In Rev 3:10 (ESV): Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth. "You" is meant as "believers." "Those" is meant as "unbelievers." No Trib for us.

@JacobKGilbert No, you're adding to the text. *You" (believers) are kept from the Trib. "Those" (unbelievers) are tried in the Trib. They are *those who dwell on the earth." Rev 6:10 and Rev 11:10 prove "those" are murderers and antagonists against the Bible.

@horsepro001 100% But believers are not kept from the Tribulation. They’re kept from the hour of temptation. They’ll see through the deception and recognize the Antichrist for who he is.

@JacobKGilbert In Rev 3:10 (ESV), "you" is used when addressing believers. "Those" is used when citing unbelievers ("those who dwell on the earth"). Rev 6:10 and Rev 11:10 prove "those" folks are unbelievers. "You" (believers) are kept from the Trib. "Those" are tried in the Trib.

@horsepro001 It does not say that. It says He will keep you from the hour of temptation. Not Tribulation. That temptation is the lie that will lead those who are not sealed with the Holy Ghost to believe the Antichrist is the messiah. (2 Thess 2:3-12, Matt 24:24)

@soothkeep Please share your thoughts. What does "delivers us" mean in 1 Th 1:10 (ESV): and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.

@JacobKGilbert In Rev 1:1, one angel was sent to Patmos to deliver the vision John would write from. That vision began in Rev 1:10, with supernatural hearing. In verse 12, John was seeing into Heaven, from Patmos. John attested in Rev 22:8 that the one angel showed him everything.

@horsepro001 No insertion necessary. That’s what that word means in Rev 3:10. And Rev 4:1 is a literary transition. He finished writing what Jesus was speaking and looks up to see Heaven opened. If you use that to mean pre-trib you are reading into the text what is not there.
