After the recent $LOUD incident, is there a SocialFi project we’re overlooking besides @KaitoAI 🔥 1/ First, I believe most of you are already familiar with the $LOUD airdrop, which has been heavily discussed in Telegram groups or on X, as it truly sparked excitement around Kaito’s “Attention Economy.” 2/ This reminds me of the NFT craze from the previous bull cycle. Early on, users frantically hunted for whitelist (WL) opportunities, chasing every project recklessly. This led to a vicious cycle of “rug pulls” (selling off and disappearing), ultimately leaving genuine holders to suffer losses. 3/ Kaito’s Humanity Founder, who holds significant mindshare, seems to be reflecting deeply on this phenomenon, questioning whether the “attention” is sufficient or sustainable for long-term growth. There’s a risk that, much like the NFT market, projects may prioritize quick sales over vision, leading to a structure where holding becomes unsustainable. Perhaps a more cautious approach was needed. 4/ That said, if you ask whether@KaitoAI’s “Attention Economy” is flawed, I’d argue that it’s not the concept itself but rather the inevitable growing pains. I believe it has significant growth potential in this cycle. However, this leads me to a question: Are there crypto projects in the SocialFi space that have been consistently surviving and growing? After some thought, I believe we should take another look at DeBank (@DeBankDeFi ), and a proven revenue model, making it an appealing project for institutions. 5/ [DeBank has survived and continues to grow] Recently, EVM-based DeFi projects like $AAVE and $Curve have shown strength, surviving and attracting institutional interest. Similarly, in the SocialFi space, DeBank stands out with its user-friendly Web3 wallet, Rabby Wallet (@Rabby_io ) 6/ What if a project that’s been around for over three years were to hold an airdrop this year? I believe that with a stable revenue model and years of proven usability, DeBank could avoid the issues currently plaguing $KAITO. While direct comparisons are tricky due to differing concepts, I think it’s worth considering this from a macro perspective. 7/ I hope this serves as an opportunity to revisit older, established projects. 최근 $LOUD 사태 이후 @KaitoAI 우리가 간과하고 있는 SocialFi 가 있다? 1/ 우선 최근 카이토에서 "Attention Economy"를 제대로 기대하게 했던 $LOUD 에어드랍에 대해 텔방 혹은 X에서 너무 많이 올라와서 익히 다들 알 것이라고 생각합니다. 2/ 저는 예전 지난 불장 사이클에서 유행했던 NFT 카테고리가 떠올랐습니다. 결국, 초기에 WL를 얻기 위해 유저들은 사냥하듯 온갖 프로젝트를 마구잡이로 쑤셔댔고 결과적으로 너팔튀(너한테 팔고 튄다)를 시전하고 결국 진성홀더들은 피해를 보게되는 악순환 구조를 봐왔습니다. 3/카이토의 마인드쉐어 중 비중이 큰 휴머니티 파운더 역시 이러한 현상을 보며 많은 생각을 하는 것 같습니다. "관심이 충분한지 혹은 지속적으로 성장가능한지"말이죠. 결국 NFT시장처럼 프로젝트의 비전 보다는 빠르게 팔거나 홀딩하지 않게 되는 구조를 만들어낼 수도 있기에 더 조심스럽게 접근했어야 하지 않을까도 생각하고 있습니다. 4/ 그렇다고 @KaitoAI 의 "관심 경제"가 나쁘냐라고 질문은 던진다면 큰 컨셉이 문제가 아니라 현재 당연한 시행착오라고 생각하고 충분히 이번 사이클에서 성장가능성이 크다고 봅니다. 저는 여기서 오히려 질문을 던져서 SocialFi 로서 지속성장하고 생존해있는 크립토 프로젝트가 있는지 곰곰히 고민해본 결과 "DeBank(@DeBankDeFi) 를 다시 봐야하지 않을까 생각하고 있습니다. ----------------- 5/ [ DeBank(디뱅크)는 생존해왔고 지속 성장하고 있다 ] 최근 $AAVE 나 $Curve 와 같은 EVM기반의 실질적으로 DeFi로서 생존해있으며 기관들의 관심을 받는 프로젝트들이 강세를 보이고 있습니다. 결국, SocialFi 에도 지속적으로 생존해있으며 Rabby wallet(@Rabby_io )이라는 편리하고 유저 친화적인 Web3 Wallet을 보유한 DeBank는 기관들에게 있어 수익성이 구체화되어있는 프로젝트라고 생각이 됩니다. 6/ 만약, 3년 이상인 된 프로젝트이지만 만약 에어드랍을 이번년도에 한다면 어떻게 될까요? 저는 시총도 시총이지만 꾸준한 수익모델이 있고 이미 몇년간 사용성을 입증한 프로젝트이기 때문에 현재 고민되는 $KAITO 에서 문제시되는 것으로부터 자유로울 수 있다고 생각합니다. 물론, 컨셉이 다른 프로젝트로 분류될 수 있어 단순비교는 어렵지만 거시적으로는 그렇게 고민할 수 있지 않을까 생각하고 있다는 점도 참고 바랍니다. 7/ 이번기회에 좀 오래된 프로젝트에 대해 다시 생각해보는 기회를 가져보시길 바라고 혹시라도 디뱅크에 관심이 생기셨다면 민팅($96)을 해보시는 것도 좋을 것 같고 Stream에 글쓰기, 뱃지 획득, XP 획득, Vote하기 등 다양한 온체인 활동을 해보시는 것이 어떠실까요?
