NEW: Teenager who got his teacher pregnant when he was 13, claims he was the one who instigated the relationship & is calling for her charges to be dropped.
New Jersey teacher Laura Caron was arrested for r*ping a male child for years, allegedly starting around the time the boy was 11.
The relationship began when Caron was about 26 years old and allegedly went on for at least four years.
"They need to drop all charges. I wasn't groomed or r*ped or manipulated by her. She never initiated anything. I started everything," he said to the Daily Mail.
"This stuff is so deep. Like the world has no idea what she has done for my family. I love her with all my heart. She was there for me and my family."
Back in December, the victim's father noticed that the child looked like him and his son, raising concerns.
Caron had taught the victim and his brother when they were in 5th grade.
"Over the years, the parents of the victim said the family became friends with Caron, which ultimately led to them even allowing their boys and daughter to stay at Caron’s home at times," ABC 6 reported.
The children eventually stayed with Caron permanently from 2016 to 2020, according to reports.
The victim’s sister says her brother was about 11 years old when he started sleeping in the same bed as Caron.
The teacher would reportedly go into the bathroom while the victim was showering, lock the door, and r*pe him while the other siblings slept.
Caron is currently awaiting trial and faces 10 years in prison.

Just for fun. This may be a tough one. This TV series (1967-1975) was about an Armenian-America private detective. Both actors won Golden Globe awards. The female actress won two and also an Emmy. She was one of the very first black female actresses on TV, not in a maid or menial type role. Do you remember the name of this show? Who were the characters and the actors?

@ChanceBuchman @EdKrassen Slavery wasn't really abolished fully. Have you read the 13th amendment to the constitution?
English

@EdKrassen That was a dark time in our country’s history. It was so bad we fought a war over it, pitted brothers against each other. Good won over Evil and slavery was abolished. We can afford to rewrite history like removing statues or changing history books. Learn from it and move on.

For those ignorant of history, when watching Kendrick Lamar, “40 acres and a mule” was a promise broken to the freed slaves. They were promised land as a start to being given true freedom.
It was an opportunity to build wealth, independence, and a future beyond the chains of slavery. But that promise was stolen from them, just as their labor, dignity, and humanity had been stolen for centuries.
Abraham Lincoln’s assassination wasn’t just the loss of a president. It was the loss of a fairer future for Black Americans. With his death, white leaders eager to restore the old racial order ripped away the land, power, and possibilities that could have transformed Black communities for generations.
Had Lincoln lived, Black people in America would likely have had a fighting chance at true economic freedom—owning land, creating generational wealth, and breaking the cycle of systemic oppression that white America has upheld for over a century and a half. Instead, they were forced back into poverty, sharecropping, and racial violence, while white America continued to hoard the benefits of their ancestors’ crimes.
Most Americans don’t know this history—because white America doesn’t want them to know. They want to pretend that slavery ended and everything was fine, ignoring the broken promises, the stolen land, and the systemic barriers still in place today. But history doesn’t forget. And neither should we.

@RealNyhiem @EdKrassen Because ALL POLITICIANS are crooks and don't give a damn about black people period. They only care when they need our votes.
English

@EdKrassen So why is it that when the Democrats are in office, they do NOTHING about it if they're really about the descendants of those emancipated (Freedmen) of said persons? Biden IGNORED us AND the issue after promising to have our backs

@DogLovers03 If he is not in pain. Let him die at home surrounded by people he loves and who loves him. I lost my 17 year old Yorkie. She died three weeks ago. Here at home in her own bed with family she loved and loved her. She went peacefully.

@dijoni No. Latinos who have been here at least three generations. They identify as white. They look down on illegal immigrants. Even though some of their great grandparents were once illegal immigrants. Make it make sense🤔
