On Feb 21 we said goodbye to Watson, the channel's original "household puppy". In 2010, Dylan crowdsourced his name—thank you to Mary Hunter for suggesting the name that stuck. Watson starred in his first video 2011 and brought so much joy to our lives. youtube.com/watch?v=R2gA_N…

Today marks Dylan's 43rd birthday. He is missed every day. In honor of his memory, here is a behind-the-scenes photo from 2015, capturing him taking a break from working on his set that, after some tweaking and paint, would later become a recognizable Household Hacker backdrop.

Watson, the channel’s original “household puppy”, turned 15 today. A heartfelt *thank you* to his puppy-sitter who didn’t miss a beat... or the opportunity to party a little.

Some of you time travelers are already there. The rest of us will arrive soon. In the interim, we want to wish everyone the very best in the new year.

I was a 15 year old, broke high school student. So I learned how to bridge my mom's laptop wifi to my Xbox 360 in order to go on Xbox Live. Shout-outs to @householdhacker for teaching me on YouTube.

@knife17782 *No one* can replace Dylan. 100%. We have every intention of rebooting the channel and are working on it. As things are, there were a multitude of challenges after Dylan passed; some of which were outlandish, utterly ridiculous, and kept things tied up for years.

@householdhacker do you guys think you'll ever come back, I remember that there used to be a video that came after Dylan's last video, but it got taken down. You guys were one of my favorite youtube channels, and while no one can truly replace Dylan I loved your content.

Today marks Dylan's 42nd birthday. His content still entertains folks today; timeless, to some degree. It is a testament to how dedication can make good things come to fruition and inspire others. -What a wonderful legacy. So, happy birthday Dylan. You are missed.

Another year is ending and with that we take time to reflect. Some things have gone well, some have not, and some things are headed in the right direction -at glacial speed. Thank you to those who have stuck by while we navigate a way to move forward. Truly. We appreciate YOU.

Today would have been Dylan’s 41st birthday. On this special day, we honor him and the legacy he left.

TBT: February 2016 the channel dropped a video about things you can do with duct tape. This behind-the-scenes shot is Dylan taking a moment to assess his handiwork before taking a break. The artist is always their own worst critic, but these came out well.

@CaptArgo24 You're not wrong. For those of us that remain with the channel, we intend to stay true to the founders' vision. This channel is Dylan's legacy and deserves to be treated with honor and respect to ensure it endures.

Happy New Year! As we reflect on 2022, we want express utmost appreciation for everyone who has visited the channel or come here to engage while we navigate moving forward. You, yes you, you rock it so hard.

@EightBitPlayz It’s always nice hearing from a long time viewer. The ability to reach and connect with people you’ve never met is truly amazing and Dylan certainly did that. The loss is felt by so many.

@householdhacker It is sad I reamember watching this channel a lot it was one of the first channels I subscribed to.

Today would have been Dylan’s 40th birthday; a milestone. Every day, he is very much missed.
