A 'Ukrainian' walking around Wroclaw, Poland, with a hand gun. In December a local journalist told me that thr Polish govt are living in fear. If they do right, call for an end to war, they have "up to 500k armed men of fighting age" to contend with.

@michaeldweiss The flew 4xMH-6 inside the 2xC-130? Along with 100 pax? And landed it on abandoned unknown landing strip without any visual markings and lights? On dirt? Makes no sense. MH-6 range was way beyond this point (even flown from Kuwait).

Uhhh, two thoughts. JSOC has the biggest balls on Earth (that was never in doubt, this just reaffirms it). We should probably put a kibosh on the HEU raid. Losing 8 airframes during a quick in-and-out is… not great… (read that the FARP also came under mortar fire, it seems like that’s the reason the other C-130 was considered a write-off).
Michael Weiss@michaeldweiss

"The op basically cost $300 million because they had to abandon the two AFSOC C-130s and the four MH-6 Little Birds. Then the U.S. Air Force had to use multiple bombs to blow up all the aircraft they abandoned at that airstrip. And the Iranians shot down 2 MQ-9s Reaper drones. "Luckily the U.S. suffered no casualties and we had to use multiple bombs and missiles to blow up IRGC vehicles that tried to drive up the mountain and also those that tried to drive to the airstrip." 2/2

@NSTRIKE1231 You are 100% right. C-130 is able to fit up to two MH-6. But there is one problem: official claims are there were additional 100 operators. Now you math makes zero sense. You can't fit 4x MH-6 and 100 boots into 2xC-130. Not even speaking about landing it on unknown farm strip.

❗❗ 🇷🇺🇮🇷 Russian and Iranian propaganda outlets are claiming the U.S. concealed additional losses, including possible casualties aboard helicopters not initially reported. 🟥 However, MH-6 Little Bird helicopters are commonly transported aboard MC-130J Commando II aircraft in U.S. special operations, and several technical factors explain their destruction on site: ▪️ MH-6 helicopters are designed to be compact; for transport inside a C-130, their main and tail rotors are removed, along with external mounts if needed. ▪️ A single MC-130 can carry two such helicopters, which can be reassembled and made operational within 15–20 minutes by trained crews. ▪️ If extraction fails, equipment is destroyed due to: 1.Time constraints — reloading and securing helicopters takes too long during active combat conditions 2.Aircraft incapacity — if the MC-130 is damaged, stuck, or unable to take off 3.“Zero-Zero” protocol — forces destroy all equipment to prevent enemy use or propaganda exploitation ▪️ Helicopters are typically destroyed using thermite charges, which melt engines and critical electronics. @Matt_Bracken48 @BGatesIsaPyscho I don't think that anyone carry during CSAR this amount of explosives to literally put C-130 along with helicopters into the sand sized pieces.

1. Are these wreckage photos real? 2. If they are real, what is the likelihood of no fatalities / serious injuries on the rescue mission? 3. Where the planes destroyed on the ground by other CSAR assets, after safely recovering all personnel? I wonder when we'll hear the true story.

🚨🇮🇷🇺🇸 Iranian State media release footage in which they claim shows downed US Plane & Blackhawk Helicopter. Didn’t Trump say Iran had no air defence left and that America & Israel had complete dominance over Iran’s airspace?

Anyone else think the whole story about C-130s getting stuck in the sand is a lie ? They also lost a little bird helicopter in the same location which makes that story even less believable.

Details about the rescue op for the U.S. Weapon Systems Officer, via a U.S. military official: "The mountain top area on the left is where the WSO was hiding (he ejected 5ish miles northwest of there). The right area is the makeshift landing strip where they landed 2 C-130s and had 4 MH-6 Little Birds. "One Little Bird flew to that mountain top area and rescued the WSO and brought him back to the landing strip. And of course the two C-130s' nose gears got stuck in the dirt. So after a few hours they had to bring in three AFSOC Dash-8s to fly out the rescued WSO and the 100 or so personnel involved in the op." 1/2

@NebojsaMalic Ukrainian propaganda paid actors (like @wjakobik) are already selling the same spin in Polish media, ex. "it was Russian false flag operation". So blatant and well coordinated.

@vtchakarova What are the chances Ukraine will get abandoned, if Qatar LNG supply doesn't reopen?

Europe’s primary vulnerability is structural, not cyclical: the continent has replaced Russian pipeline gas dependency with Qatari and American LNG dependency and 17% of Qatar’s LNG capacity is now offline for the next years. The EU started 2026 needing to inject 60 billion cubic metres (bcm) of gas to reach its 90% storage target by December. At 28% storage (Germany 22%), the summer refill season which starts tomorrow (5 April) under the Summer 2026 delivery contract is the next critical battleground. The EU has already cut its storage target from 90% to 80% in recognition of structural supply constraints. The April 6 Trump deadline is Europe’s most immediate binary decision point. If the US strikes Iranian power plants and oil infrastructure (Kharg Island), Brent could move toward $150–200/bbl. If diplomacy produces even a partial Hormuz reopening, prices could correct 15–25% within days. Europe is entirely exposed to this binary as a price-taker with no independent military role in the Strait.

Hungary comes with 27% VAT (IVA) and 18% "Social Contributions" ON TOP of your basic Personal Income, using your same PI as the tax base There's marginally not much difference between paying taxes in Hungary vs a Scandinavian country COL got significantly higher the past 10 years, almost indistinguishable from a country like Denmark Not the expat paradise it used to be, neither is the "based home country" I yearn to get back. With that said, culture & food is awesome, easily 10/10, architecture is stunning, incredibly great people and I'll never stop being proud of being one of them.

The Iran war won't last forever. I give it a few more weeks of bombing at best. Trump is not going to invade with American soldiers. The Conservatives are mostly fine with an air bombing campaign, but nobody except Lindsey Graham wants a full invasion. Most military targets are already destroyed. The economy of Iran is wrecked for years to come. Critical bridges, electric grid infrastructure, steel factories .. will take years to rebuild. The leadership is decimated. 99% of the top 300 leaders (religious and military) are dead. The bombing campaign is running out of useful targets. They have all been hit at this point. Trump could stop the active bombing, but continue to maintain the air dominance with US planes controlling the air space, denying Iran any flights. Wait and see what develops with the new leadership of Iran. There will be a power struggle in Iran as the mid level leaders come out of hiding. It remains to be seen what the policies of the new leaders will be. That is really the only path forward. We don't want to invade and occupy Iran. At some point we have to sit back and see what forms in the new Iran.
