I find it very annoying that grass owners think I can control where my dog is going to do his duty either way. I agree that I also know when he’s going to go but I don’t usually have a full block to redirect him when I see the sign. One is downtown De Pere near the movie theater.

Iola-Scandinavia junior Alex Robbins (6-8) plans to attend a prep school in the fall and reclassify to the 2028 class. He will play with the Team Herro 16U EYBL squad this spring/summer.

We talked about the Janowski's yesterday, and now the Ketterhagen girls have six combined state titles. What other sibling groups (any sport) would have 6+ team or individual state titles?

@MrPatMineo Dumb rule, could be stated differently for sure but it is a rule and you can see the Princeton asst coach grab it knowing very well said rule was broken.

The Wrestling Room (Pat Mineo)
The official docked Princeton a team point for this “headgear toss” following Rocco Camillaci’s win at 157 lbs. The dual ultimately ended 20–19 in Rider’s favor, with that single point proving decisive. Princeton would have won the dual on criteria otherwise. I understand the rule, but at this level, in that moment, it’s worth asking: should that be called? Curious to hear thoughts from coaches, officials, and fans- especially on consistency and discretion in these situations.

@JoeKania3 How about the flip side if said recipient walks on the commitment after getting paid?

This is in regards to nothing in particular but these NIL deals operate like the mafia and using them as your sole deciding factor for anything is not smart. A non-enforceable, non-binding handshake deal for significant sums where you can’t really say anything if you don’t get paid because it was kinda illegal to begin with. I think we are about 5 years away from hearing a lot of horror stories. People won’t come forward with them now for a combination of reasons: they have eligibility left and doing so would raise a red flag, they were illegitimate deals to begin with and there is nothing they can do about it. Anything that sounds too good to be true always is.

A 133lb national champion isn’t beating a 285lb high school wrestler, I believe the size difference makes up for the difference in fight IQ and experience. The HS wrestler will know enough to not get taken down as easily or at least know how to defend a takedown of a smaller guy, a HS guy at 285lbs is a beast and I don’t even think someone that’s 150lbs could take that fight.

1979 NCAA Champs. Odd year. How many can you get? I only got 5. Should have gotten one more but I spaced it. This is a tough one though.

@MatScouts1 No Iowa champs but they won the title. 1978 and 1987 only two years from ‘75 to ‘01 with no Iowa champs.
