The best EAs are the ones who don’t just assist—they anticipate. They’re not just reacting to requests. Tthey’re thinking two, three steps ahead, clearing the path for you to focus on the bigger picture. It’s not just about organization or time management either. A well-trained EA has a deep understanding of your priorities. They get your style, your goals, and the nuances of your workday. They communicate clearly, manage your time like it’s their own, and can handle high-pressure situations without flinching. What stands out to me the most is their ability to be a true partner. It’s in the way they think critically, offer suggestions, and, most importantly, in how much they care about the work you do together. It’s more than just a job for them—it’s about making sure the entire operation runs smoothly. A well-trained EA doesn’t just help you run your business—they help you run it better.

We spent $8.2M on ads and got $54M back. Our secret? Not hacks. Not hidden targeting options. It was messaging. If your copy calls out the right person, states their exact problem, or teaches something valuable… ...the algorithm does the rest.

@ryandeiss Yea totally, scaling is hard.... I had this problem when I scaled my company from 6 to 160 people in 10 months, I had to let go, and trust others... it was not an easy process, how are you advising your clients on how to do this?

Scaling isn’t about working harder. It’s about admitting you’re not that good at half the stuff you’re still doing.

Today marks a new chapter in Remo’s history – we are officially joining Events.com! 🎉🎉🎊🎊🥳🥳 I started Remo six years ago with a goal to humanize the online experience and drive meaningful connections. And, what a 6 years it’s been – we’ve successfully powered over 16,000 events, hosted over 900,000 engaged attendees, and helped generate over 3.5 million meaningful connections. As I ran Remo, virtual was just a start, to continue my mission of "creating authentic conversations that build meaningful relationships" I couldn't resist the fact that in-person is really where the bulk of the market. But in-person is such a daunting market with many established players, Remo could not do this alone. So I looked for the right partner that could fulfill my requirements: 1. A talented leadership team that has vision and are good people 2. A partner that wants my team and I to stay, incentivize all of us with great upside, and offer great career growth 3. A partner where there are true synergies between Remo and their product and customers When I first met Mitch Thrower and Stephen Partridge a few years back we talked about all things events and the future of the industry. I was impressed with the passion with which both of them spoke about their mission of empowering both event organizers and event goers to create and discover events they’ll love. But, most importantly, how closely it resonated with our goal at Remo to create an immersive, human experience online. This got me excited about the possibility of partnering to further both our missions, expand our combined reach, and build the ultimate event management solution together. So here we are! I’m looking forward to the journey ahead with Mitch, Stephen and the Events.com team! The vision they have is expansive, and ambitious, something that will fundamentally change the way how events are experienced and how they are organized. This is not the ending chapter for Remo, it is a new chapter that doubles down on the great product we created. The Remo brand is staying, and so is our product. Above all, I want to thank everyone that has helped Remo along the way… Thank you to all our customers and agency partners who believed in Remo from the start and motivated us to keep improving our event platform. Also, a massive shoutout to all Remo-ites, both past and present, for their dedication and commitment over the years. Here’s to a new era of events in 2025 and the years to come!

Being a CEO can be overwhelming. With so much to do and think about, it often feels like there’s no time to breathe. I’ve found that some of the best productivity tips come from the most unexpected places. It's not always about the latest trends or reading every business book. Sometimes, it’s about discovering what genuinely works for you. I’ve started carving out quiet moments in my day. Just like the calm of a library, these brief periods of silence help me clear my mind and tackle challenges more effectively. I’ve also learned the value of quick iterations. Trying out new ideas on a small scale before fully committing has allowed me to be more adaptable and reduce risks. Connecting with nature is something I’ve come to appreciate. Spending time outdoors has not only boosted my creativity but also helps me reduce stress and gain fresh perspectives. Lastly, outlining my goals and priorities before diving into projects has become a key practice. It brings clarity and helps my team stay focused on what matters. Productivity is a personal journey, and it can look different for everyone. What’s one small thing that has helped you stay productive recently?

It’s easy to fall into the trap of thinking, “If I want it done right, I need to do it myself.” I used to feel this way. (often overwhelmed by my workload and hesitant to let go of tasks.) But I learned that clinging too tightly can actually hold both the leader and the team back. Delegating isn’t a sign of weakness. It’s a chance for growth. When I started delegating, I noticed team members stepping up and bringing fresh ideas to the table. Of course, clear communication is key. It’s crucial to ensure that team members have the resources they need to succeed. Mistakes are bound to happen, and that’s part of the process. The important thing is how we respond and adapt, creating an environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute. I’ve faced challenges while delegating, and it’s a learning experience each time. What challenges have you faced with delegation, and how did you handle them?

How much do you trust AI in your decision-making? As AI becomes more integrated into our processes, I’ve been thinking about its role in our choices. While AI can offer data-driven recommendations that seem logical, it often overlooks the real-world context that we understand best. Decisions aren’t made in a vacuum. They involve team dynamics, client relationships, and the complexities of market changes. These factors require our insights to interpret effectively. This experience has reinforced my belief that AI should support our judgment rather than replace it. Our instincts and experiences are vital for navigating the challenges we face. What’s your perspective on using AI in decision-making? How do you find the balance between data and intuition?
